I was thinking once the B9TL comes in and if SBST indeed extend the lifespan of the Mark IIs , won't there be many spare buses ? Many in the sense that some will be idleing in the depots. I probably think the mark II , scanias will go without extention . 150 B9tL replacing the MarK IIS ( Capacity differences) and probably new single decks replacing scanias )

most probably, and as expected, they will merge 2 SD into a DD..
theorectically, waiting time will double..
one good example is 90... they swapped a DD LO2x for a Scania
or remove 2 SD in exchange for a DD -

Some SD buses overloaded still 2 for 1 DD... buey gam one -

Anyway , servce 149 originally operates Changi Airport to Toa Payoh. Changi Airport was covered by 16 and Marine Parade was covered by 31 so 149 was withdrawed . -

if you want fast Mk2, take SBS1833H on Sv 79, speed at 60+km/h along the highway. Not all MK2 are slow..... -
Give me a Mark II , Mark IV and Mercedes over Scania anyday. But to be honest, seeing those scanias apart from (31L-80U) going , even though how much I disliked them, I will probably missed them . That is funny right but yeah that is how i feel .
In additon , I feel SBST should purchase Volvo buses for DD purchases and should purchase new brands or Scanias/Mercedes for singledeck. Apart from Mark II . IV Striders (good conditions ) and DM3500 , the rest are quite zzzz.
