Brake too hard liaoOriginally posted by stooper:No idea what happened. But 9014C of 174 is missing the front desto holder. (The red part surrouding the front desto). The whole glass is missing as well.
It came to BNL at around 3pm, with all destos taken off. It parked for a while, then left at around 3.45pm off service.
It didn't seem to be involved in any accident or anything since the upper and lower deck windscreens were still intact. There wasn't any dents or anything.
So probably the desto glass just dropped off midway! Like what happened to the windscreen of one of the 243 buses!
The bus was still okay when I took it yesterday.

SBS9080K (Svc 51) collided with SBS0742T (Svc 165) at Hougang Central Int (around 10am) while the latter was at the alighting berth allowing passengers to alight.
Both 9080K and 9014C are back in service... 9080K didn't have noticable dents, but the wheel rims have been repainted.Originally posted by stooper:No idea what happened. An unidentified SBS Transit Mercedes MB O405/Duple Mestec OAC bus with a Carl's Junior "Please Don't Lick This Bus" advertisement was found apparently stalled at a bus stop somewhere along Thomson Road last night. Only the hazard lights were on, and there seemed to be nobody around or on the bus.
Guess like somebody ignore the plea written on the bus and licked it anyway... (SBS 1985C might get this joke...)
