New SMRT EDS

A KJDEP habit with a ad on Service 190 has been spotted with a new EDS. This LED style EDS is similar to SBS Transit's. Instead of being yellow, it is orange and the font too is unlike the normal Habit EDS.
Anyone who spotted more buses with this or any other info on it, post here.
(I did not spot the plate no. of the bus as i was on 307, and the window was misty) -
I can confirm while i was travelling PIE... But cannot confirm bus plate no.

Hope that more buses change to this kind of EDS.. The wordings is much clearer than the yellow ones

For all we know, it could be SMRT trial period of the new EDS so when the trial is over & they find it successful then perhaps we could all see the new EDS being implemented on the various SMRT Buses

When it does work, you can't see it clearly due to the reflection of the glass
But this is SMRT we're talking about, they haven't even installed the next bus stop LED display onto Nissans... -

I;m not so sure this is a good move for SMRTbuses to try out the Transit Media destos. they are after all new to them and may be harder to program than the current yellowish EDS ones. did u know their current one can program chinese chracters....?

Well, maybe it is not a good move if they are planning to refit the habits with new ones. it would simply be a waste of funds. btw, isn't the current EDS most of the Habits are fitted with Transit Media? The others if I am not wrong, is Hanover Displays -

Wow! That looks much more sharper than the flip-dot LED displays! But I feel they should replace the completely flip-dot ones first, like O405, Nissan, etc since they are very hard to see at night when it is lit from the bottom.

I just went to the EDS' manufacturer's web site (http://www.hanoverdisplays.com/english/products/led_signs.html), and it seems like they make colour EDSes as well as the usual monochrome variety, and they make interior LED signs too. Don't think that SMRT used their interior LED signs for their next bus stop displays though, but I wonder whether SMRT will purchase the coloured versions (SBS Transit could have better use for them though, with all their red/blue/green/white plate routes, but I think the cost will put them off).

the eds nice sia.
Imagine if the VO3X and VSO have that kind of eds.
