Whenever I read abt some of the public's demands on this and that, I often have to feel sorry for our employees. There are some of the publics talking happy only and never realise the effects or consequences following their demands.
eg.
-take off TVmobile to reduce fares (I nearly fainted)
-Since GPS can be used to deduct fares why it cannot tell the passengers when the bus coming (I also nearly fainted; how is he going to do it? TV every bus stop?)
But there're always some who raised practical solutions like pin pointing the bus number on it's cleaniness. Then I can zoom directly into the bus to clean it. No need to search the bus like a mad dog through systems, digging around, or clean all the buses belonging to that service.
But it's impossible to keep the bus clean tip top all the way. Because there will always be inconsiderate people who goes and dirty the bus. And the BC cannot catch everyone of them but do a quick clean up every now and then. That's good and practical. If the public wants a thorough clean every now and then, then expect no bus every now and then because the bus send for thorough cleaning. A single deck with 3 persons require about 30mins to 1hr to do a VIP thorough cleaning. If everyone go and do that, no one will be able to do the other more impt maintenance or drive bus.

It is sad to see the state of the Nissans nowadays. Last time when TIBS only got Nissan and Hino, I always prefer the Nissan. Of course, last time got no aircon, only natural ventilation. Very fast, very windy and very nice. It would be very to get NACs in the morning or early morning where "natural ventilation" would be nicer than AC. However, it would be quite bad to get SD NACs on PM Peak due to more pollution and not so fresh air.
