SBS9834C went to 161 probably due to it's new Tiger Beer ads.Originally posted by SBS3625D:I think SBST is not learning from their mistake, the VSOs are clearly unsuitable for long-haul no-stop routes like 161, the Olympians might be a better choice.......
Dang......9171G is a great bus to ride on 161 with its tight gearbox.
The VSOs on 168 hardly behave like those on 161, I once tracked 9849K running on SLE at a speed in excess of 70km/h!Originally posted by off_service:Can anyone confirm status of 9464L? It seems like it's now BN 168.
Actually VSOs and LOs are the same. Both can complete the journey in the same time. Just like I've tried a VSO on 168 before, Bedok - Woodlands in 45 mins.
Maybe 9834C is a good runner?@9844Z & 9845X are slow. 9035S is damn fast so as 9108ROriginally posted by SBS3625D:The VSOs on 168 hardly behave like those on 161, I once tracked 9849K running on SLE at a speed in excess of 70km/h!
I used to like 9846T alot, it's the best runner among all the former VSOs.Originally posted by SBS3625D:The VSOs on 168 hardly behave like those on 161, I once tracked 9849K running on SLE at a speed in excess of 70km/h!
I don't think SBST deploy buses by looking at which bus can "run" better. It's more of advertising and deployment needs.Originally posted by swee_heng:Maybe 9834C is a good runner?@9844Z & 9845X are slow. 9035S is damn fast so as 9108R
All BNDEP DDs have that black patch. It is not restricted only to the B9TLs.Originally posted by chickenlittle2:Compared to all new buses like B9TL, Tridents and VSO. I personally felt that the LO3X, VO3x (batch 2 & 3) are much comfortable! LO3x speeds damm fast and stable! Like the engine sound when it is speeding!! Only when some of them brake hardly and produce kind of loud sound. For VSO and tridents, their interior are getting from new to old. Especially tridents, that their red colour interior are almost all getting into black colour! Exterior for B9TL! There were black patches like burnt marks at the rear side of the bus! U can refer to svc 2 and 12's B9TL! I guess in a few years time, u would see those yellow seats in the B9TL would become black colour seats!!
