Thank you for explaning. Let me add on:
First and foremost, when S170 first started out having Mk3s, sbst allocated 60 buses for this service. However, only about 30 odd to 40 buses are used for S170, leaving around 20 SPs.
Then S160 came along and bbdep acquired more Mk3s and converted them to JB Mk3s. Now the total of JB mk3s stands +/- 80 buses.
Ever wonder why bbdep die die wont put any JB mk3 perm on any service? Reason is obvious but still i will say it. They need it for S160 S170. Let's assume they put a JB Mk3 perm on a service (especially in bulk numbers), and if a JB Mk3 on 160 170 breakdown? or an accident occurred? Who is going to replace them? Use your math and count.. About 55 perm buses (exact numbers get from sgwiki)... then leave about 8-10 buses for maintainence, leaves about 15-17 buses.
There are days where u see a huge lot of JB Mk3s running around bbdep and arbp services, those are the days where its other SDs that go for maintainence.
bbdep, like all other depots, has a quota to keep a certain amount of buses in the depot for emergency or chartering. However, unlike other depot, bbdep has a strict preference for the JB Mk3s, while other depots can just keep any model or whatsoever..
Do note one thing. SBS 0587 A is perm on 7 is partly because SBS 0691 G is on non-user laid up status. At that time the B9s were not out yet and hence this arrangement has to be made. Besides its only ONE bus that is perm. I believe he is back to SP status given the excess buses bbdep has now. SBS 0817 L was another classic example replacing SBS 2648 U but this bus i didnt check whether got perm 111 sticker (then again arbp buses no stix)
Henceforth, I consider your statement that JB Mk3s perm on S175 as invalid. There are a total of about 6-10 bbdep buses being perm on S175. I strongly believe that IF there are any JB Mk3s being perm (which i still think its a no), only 1 at most 2 will be perm.
I would consider you (9806J) to counter my statement after this Sunday. Thank you.

JB MK3s are perm on S160 & S170 (with exceptional to S7). Those you see on other services are mere cameo.Originally posted by SBS9806J:I never said that JB MK3s WILL be perm, I only said they COULD be perm. Same for SBS817L, are you sure it really replaced SBS2648U? I think you are making these comments just because an SD bus replaced another SD bus. Now, it is weekday 48 and weekend 170.
So, if JB MK3 are perm 175, they can always crossover to 160/170 or like SBS817L, operate on 175 during weekdays and operate on 160/170 during weekends.
Finally, a question to you, if you say that SBS587A replaced SBS691G and SBS817L replaced SBS2648U, did SBS2825A really replace SBS2699Y's timeslot in Sv 174?
Btw, ARBP/BBDEP buses have stickers and sometimes, writings on the coinbox (e.g. SBS2611A and SBS9359H)

What makes you say that JB MK3s will not be perm on 175? Anyway, I feel that there is no point in continuing this argument. Sv 175 is going to start tomorrow already.Originally posted by sbs&tibs:JB MK3s are perm on S160 & S170 (with exceptional to S7). Those you see on other services are mere cameo.
JB Mk3s will not be perm on S175. And if perm, they will not crossover to JB services, they will just cameo. Cross what shit?
