SBS 0876 R is the first bus to off service from Toa Payoh at 2345hrs
SBS 9005 D takes the 2nd last bus from Toa Payoh at around 2320hrs. SBS 9005 D has been doing this slot for the past 2 days at least.
From my knowledge of brbp full day buses, all the 6 buses are in one wave. with about 1 or 2 off service from Tampines between 2330-2400hrs. This makes SBS 9005 D not in sync with the rest. Shall investigate this guy over the course of next week. -

In a previous revision, 9092B did only 2 179 rounds as the others rounds were all 242. So it was the only single page timesheet...
I cannot confirm yet the new VO3x yet. You sure 9024Z is out? If you notice, they took out 4 consecutive 179 buses - 9056G, 9058B, 9059Z, 9062M. Then suddenly 9024Z like extra.
The bus cameoing on 9059Z's timeslot (AM peak 242 x-over) has been

(9059Z was not deployed on public holidays like today) -

Last time, I take 9255Z cameoing on 179, it was the BC's last round so he floored it all the way, so the bus ended up rather empty.
On the straight stretch of slight downslope before the sharp turn out of NTU, I saw the speedo read almost 70km/h! -
I thought buses have a speed limit of 60km/h?
Anyway, there was one time when I took 174 after 12 midnight at Orchard. When it was using the highway to travel from Bukit Batok to Boon Lay, I swear the bus (Single-decker) was speeding faster than the cars on the highway! It was like a roller-coaster ride; in other words, scary!
The fastest speed that I have recorded on 179 was 45km/h, when the bus (LO3x) was travelling on the last stretch of road before it arrived at the interchange. -

179 buses can do 60km/h easily. You can attain 60km/h along JW St 63 & Pioneer Road North if the bus is empty and you get green lights.
You can also get 60km/h on the straight stretch after the junction of Nanyang Ave/Nanyang Drive before the library.
But the most exciting one was after the Sch of Comms studies! That bus stop is on a downslope. So the BC floored the bus when leaving and didn't let go of the accelerator for the left turn at the bottom!
The bus managed to maintain 60km/h on the slight upslope to the Innovation Centre Bus stop! I was so shocked that a half loaded LO3x can do it! -
Of course, 174 does go on the expressway. Well, the road running parellel to the expressway, I shall make myself clear.
