9291T has a complicated drawing of no.2 & no.3 parking lots next to svc 240 parking lots written by a blue marker on its sunshade!Originally posted by @@:

Yes, ah, now both 9334D and 9365P are both perm 179.

BTW, to summarise,
OUT of 179
9056G, 9058B, 9059Z, 9062M
IN to 179
9214S, 9291T, 9334D, 9365P
I've updated SGwiki and I suspect the same has happened to 199.
So I can't deduce which are the 3 LO3x which have become SP since all 4 LO3x have cameoed in the past few days and I haven't had the chance to see the stickers...
oh my !!! , so basically i predict by the end of the year all the 179 Lo3x will be out of 179 and all vo3x in .Originally posted by choww:SBS9024Z (179 SLBP143 SLBP)
Perm sticker seen.SP bus marking also seen on sunshade.
And if the VO3x are perm, 143 will have 38 busesOriginally posted by SBS BUSES LOVER:oh my !!! , so basically i predict by the end of the year all the 179 Lo3x will be out of 179 and all vo3x in .![]()
9365P doing x-over 242 for both morning peak and evening peak hours is as good as not being a 179 bus at all.Originally posted by SBS BUSES LOVER:NOOO! ,my fav 9059Z is gone !!
and 9365P has been doing the x-over the whole of this week . sadly its bad news as it replaces a bus .
i was hoping that 9303T would become perm as its a/c is powerful

What you mean SP marking on sunshade?Originally posted by choww:SBS9024Z (179 SLBP143 SLBP)
Perm sticker seen.SP bus marking also seen on sunshade.
The word "SP bus" is written with blue marker on the sunshade and the perm 143 sticker is seen at the side(the place where they normally stick the sticker).Originally posted by stooper:What you mean SP marking on sunshade?
Because their performance no good.Originally posted by @@:
Why?
Blame on the speed limiter and the new stupid acceleratorOriginally posted by stooper:Because their performance no good.
On a rather empty load, the VO3x and LO3x performance is comparable. But when the loading is full to the door, the LO3x wins VO3x hands down...
Last time, during IMF period, when I took 9664B, it was full to the door when climbing the NTU hill. I don't think it got above 10km/h...
Then if the aircon not strong you suggest the bus go out to another service?Crap lah you,I thought something like the performances or something interesting about that bus.Originally posted by SBS BUSES LOVER:NOOO! ,my fav 9059Z is gone !!

VO 3 axles can actually accelerate if not because of what carbikebus has said. Thanks to the "wonderful" thinking who planned this.Originally posted by carbikebus:Blame on the speed limiter and the new stupid accelerator![]()
it can also accelerate damn good , among all the vo3x , i think this bus is not that bad ! the last time i took it on 242 . it was as if riding on a lo3xOriginally posted by carbikebus:Then if the aircon not strong you suggest the bus go out to another service?Crap lah you,I thought something like the performances or something interesting about that bus.
You talking about the accelerator pedal?Originally posted by carbikebus:Blame on the speed limiter and the new stupid accelerator![]()
I think all VO3x also quite good on empty load. But full load is the problem...Originally posted by SBS BUSES LOVER:it can also accelerate damn good , among all the vo3x , i think this bus is not that bad ! the last time i took it on 242 . it was as if riding on a lo3x
Since when did 174 go on expressway? Anywaay, you are going off topic, this thread is about redeployments, not how fast was the bus you took.Originally posted by @@:
I thought buses have a speed limit of 60km/h?
Anyway, there was one time when I took 174 after 12 midnight at Orchard. When it was using the highway to travel from Bukit Batok to Boon Lay, I swear the bus (Single-decker) was speeding faster than the cars on the highway! It was like a roller-coaster ride; in other words, scary!
Yeah, 60km/h. But it was a downslope... SO porbably that extra 10km/h was helped by gravity...Originally posted by @@:

The fastest speed that I have recorded on 179 was 45km/h, when the bus (LO3x) was travelling on the last stretch of road before it arrived at the interchange.
