Today Sv94 got SBS 157 H(Perm), SBS 120 M, SBS 220 ?, SBS 285 X, SBS 3841 X(Perm) and SBS 3888 L.
Gotten pics of all cameos(Weekend arrangement) except SBS 3888 L
SBS 564 R crossover from Sv60 after duno wad time and if i m not wrong, SBS 564 R replaced SBS 285 X or SBS 3841 X that returned to depot.
Also at about 3.25pm, SBS 3888 L off service from Eunos specially to pick up pax at PLAB, same case for SBS 120 M or was it another MBO405 WA at 6.45pm. That 6.45PM slot got 1 RSAF Personnell follow the bus although it was off svc
At about 2+PM almost all the Sv94 was happily bunching until they reach Eunos Int and from around 2.30PM, they slowly one by one came out. Frequency then was about 16 - 25 mins based on my spotting.
And today Sv94 was really rather weird. Normally Saturdays frequency was even better than today. -

So sad this year no DD One year got 1 VO3X Batch 2 or 3 with BAE System ad do full day 94

Don't think Eunos Int got this signboard or press release. The Toa Payoh board 'we wish to..' very commonly put one. usually 90 is for those who live near TPY areas -
Anyway, today 2 alighting berth for Eunos Int not enough, PM Peak i saw one case where about 5 buses queue up to alight passengers

Pax don't want to move in, don't board bus w/o seats causing the 1st shuttle bus to delay & when the 2nd shuttle bus every pax reach for the "empty" bus -

i believe the shuttles buses are being chartered by RSAF.
Chartered rates for single decks and ADDs are totally different.
Thus pls do not blame SBST for not deploying ADDs on the shuttle. Blame RSAF instead.
As for SV 90/94, SBST cant possibly deploy all ADDs on these service and cant possible add too many buses. Today is a saturday and i believe most ADDs are still running on other services and thus difficult to pull 12 Adds to deploy on SV 90/94.
Also, if they add in more buses/Adds, that wont solve the problem as well.
The traffic is chaos and in the morning, i believe a lot of the return trips will be empty. Also, what if there is no demand at all? No one can predict..
If you are unhappy with the traffic arrangment, complain directly to ST or SBST, or best, dun go to this event.. No one is asking you to go.. -

Agree with the thing of different rates, but at least relieve the crowd stress before talking about the rates. If some national disaster occurs, the govenment needs to charter (or demand can liao) buses, bus operator refuse because the government/ministry did not pay them, is this going to work out? We are always afraid of people not paying up (this applies to loan sharks too, pour paint just because people pay later, they will pay one...), and making a big fuss, making the big picture scarred with unhappiness, anger and frustration
Look At the Big Picture The next National Day celebration should have this slogan!
If we look at the big picture, we will understand that deploying more buses will not affect our business, will not affect the drivers, the drivers' wives, kids, dogs or cats. It will not affect the 'Green Man', they walk more is for their own good. It will only affect our ego for a slight while, worrying that somewhere, somehow, someone MIGHT be angry, maybe the CEO? But this will fade once we see pax face turn happy, babies without milk will not cry anymore, because they know that they will reach their destination in a short time, or rather, they do not need to wait at the hot interchange any more.
Wake up, SBS Transit, hear the public's cry and deploy buses sensibly!
