We were'nt the one who are driving.Originally posted by XTransbus:he cheong lah. He want to enter your lane you never allow
From the Video, you can see that when the bus is cutting into the lane, the signal light is already ON. Whether on HOW long it had been on. We don't know about that. From many of my experiences on the road, Singaporeans are selfish bunch of people who thinks that they own the right of everything. This might just be another case of Drivers not giving way to buses. Like what you've said in YouTube, you was suggesting that we can complain... But from what i see.. Itz not possible. No use complaining.. Not enough prove.Originally posted by jetabt767400:The video below, do take a look...

SBS9068Y, SLBP spare bus, hence no trace...
Not only SMRT drivers like to chiong, some people from the other company do the same too. Singapore is so small, so rush is for? Face? Or danger...
Good luck to the driver; no one went into the rear wheels...
Your thoughts please...
What a ridiculous argument. So what if the car did not give way? The driver could have slowed down, or even stopped.Originally posted by The_Bus_Guide:It might look like the BC is anyhow cutting into people's lane. But it is also possible that the car didn't give way. So, its not fair to make an assumption that the BC was driving dangerously based on that clip because we only saw the part when the bus cuts in and not the whole picture.
Stop the bus, open the front door, stand at the steps and wave his left hand. Then people will think "Siao ar?".Originally posted by sinicker:if the bus waited for the biker to pass him, then there would be even more traffic behind the bike. in the end, 2 lanes wud be slowwww.
and filtering left is tough. not something the BC can just open window and wave his left hand.
As I said, we did not see the whole picture. Yes, the BC could have slowed or even stop. That is also an option but perhaps the BC judged that it wasn't the best at that point of time. The BC cannot see the rear very well. He might have judged that its a safe distace to filter in when in actual fact it is not. Hence, the phrase "Objects in the mirror are much closer than it seemed"Originally posted by scabstermooch:What a ridiculous argument. So what if the car did not give way? From the video, it seems the driver cut into the lane dangerously. The only thing to dispute is how close the bus was since the footage does not give much reference points to make that judgement.
aiyooo theory book got state to signal left, use right hand and use the circular motionOriginally posted by sinicker:if the bus waited for the biker to pass him, then there would be even more traffic behind the bike. in the end, 2 lanes wud be slowwww.
