  from what i've seen recently , 2998J has been on 105 for a week and it's 243 perm sticker is gone !

  SBS2998J was replacing SBS2989K's weekday slot. THe bus still has Svc 243 side destos.

  Spotted SBS2999G on svc 243W every weekday morning but didn't see SBS2998J on svc 243G, saw different Mk 4 cameo on svc 243G on this week's weekday morning

  Actually, 2999G very very very seldomly does the 199 x-overs. I haven't seen it personally myself.

  I saw a SBS 2990E when I went to school the other day. It's top has got a protruding part (As some of you would know).
  
  I checked an article on Wikipedia another day and I saw that same kind of bus. It featured SBS 2998J on service 143. So I was excited about it.
  
  But now, the question was, anyone boarded any of these 12 buses?

  Hmm , all the CNG's are based at the western part of SG , yeah ...I board all of them already.
  
  Service like 66 , 143 , 105 , 243 have them , Interestingly Sv 93 only have them in the AM Peak. Crossover from 143.

  I took some of the 66/105 and 143 already. BTW, you havnt intro yourself yet.

  Personally, I have taken both the original 105 CNGs, both 243 CNGs, and CNG cameos on 243 (2991, 2992, 2993, 2994 and probably others too)

  If im not wrong is early this year. Apparently when SBS2988M and SBS2989K intro in 2002 , it serve the Jurong island service till the withdrawal in 2003 and the others were kept until they came out for revenue service recently.

  CNG is in Soon Lee is because the only place to pump up the gas is in Jurong island. Soon Lee is the nearest depot.
  
  CNG itself has ample power for ferrying even in full conditions. Comparing CNG to the diesel buses, I'd comment that operationally it loses out totally to Diesel. Diesel providence network is so much well supported than gas. However, technically, CNG will be a different approach. The exhaust this bus emits is so clean that it is not a problem towards the environment at all.
  
  However, the technical equipments involving the running of the CNG bus is much more sophisticated than the diesel buses. The technician involved in dealing with the CNG engine and fuel supply systems must be separately accessed for this bus. Even the B9TL may be less headache to the bus workshop than the CNG.

  we will be more exposed to the CNg bus and more models brought. if they cna run CNG bendybus (iveco euroclass 2004 model or even the Scania Cn94UA 2004 model ) i'm very certain the technology has improved so much it cna power a 18m long bus that has a joint in middle and carrying loads of at least 147 pax max.

  still we have a long way to go before they dare to bring in other models.
  
  but to sattisfy the euro 4 bus government ruling i guess sometimes they might have not much choices. SLBP shall keep up the good work and exposure to CNg technology shall prosper in Singapore. but scania bus singapore din keep up and introduce the CNG fuel L95UB (lols)
  
  meanwhile hydrogen fuel or say say fuel cell bus yet to step foot onto singapore. (currently the Fuel cell market is dominated by Mercedes only merc models ...is quite ex to run those bus)
  
  not even DPF fitted bus (Disel purifying Filter device)
  
  electric bus i dunno why trial then fail on 825. so sad. but true that we dun see much electric bus out there.
