i dont think all these will ever happen..
if u all say this statement when u all are adults or retirees with loads of cash, it may be possible..
but u still need to clear the government's regulation, and thats not very easy.
not forgetting LTA and TP rules... -

In the old SBS website (before they changed the name to SBST), there were also ads for selling LO2x, Atlantean and the Bendy buses -
I think LTA does not allow individuals to purchase. Unless you own a company or something.

Anyway, how bout minibuses? Such as the Nissan Urvan or Toyota Hiace? Does LTA allows individual purchase such minibuses? (might be a little off topic, but anyone can tell me the ans?)

hahaha. I did see the ad. They put the MK2 with the old sbs livery NAC when i saw it. They say you can either buy the whole bus or the spare parts. erm i kinda agree.... especially the wheel rims. Y is it so black? However i still lyk the Scanias Im abit put off by the 0405(SBS). their engines are the loudest among the SD. Whenever one past by my home in bukit panjang(maybe to drop off drivers?), im always woken up by the noise
its confirmed not the smrt's 0405. i tink the volvo b10ble CNG has the quietest engine for SD, dun u tink? -

MK2 not bad wad. Just need to change the shock absorbers and clean/repaint the rims.
Full list of what i'll do with the mk2 CAC assuming i've gotten the bus
1)Clean the bus (including repainting the rims)
2)Change the flooring
3)Change the wipers to new and better ones
4)Remove the speed limiter
5)Change the tyres
6) If possible change the headlights and tail lights
7)Change the shock absorbers
Repaint the bodywork
9)Remove the handpoles
10)Change the metal linings on the steps to rubber ones
11)Change the interior lights
That's what i'll do
The N113 have still lots of stuff needed to refurbished -

I agree. I am also put off by the loud O405 sounds. But I bear with them. At least SBS Transit Stopped Deploying them as last bus and instead deployed a VSO -
