Commuters are in for a treat.
Starting Monday, passengers on six special SBS Transit buses can ride for free for a month.
Two of these SBS Transit buses will be dressed up in SilkAir's livery as part of the airline's marketing campaign.
The exterior will mirror the aircraft wings and tailfin, with interiors refurbished to reflect SilkAir's cabin ambience, right down to the carpets, upholstered silk seats, boarding music and even a refreshment service.
Four other buses will feature exteriors that draw inspiration from SilkAir's 26 exotic destinations.
The buses will take 40 passengers each on a first-come-first-served basis.
The service will run in addition to present SBS services and will be on the roads four hours every weekday morning.
The buses will service different routes every week. - CNA/ir -

Saw SBS2622T on sv143 at Jurong Int at around 9+..Very low demand..Waiting for passengers at the boarding berth..Only about 10 ppl onboard after waiting..Bet it will be an empty bus towards Toa Payoh..
