Sometimes it's really as I've said, ppl just dun wanna move inOriginally posted by choww:Btw sv238 frequercy is much better than before..From 8 buses to 10 buses and 1 more during peak hour..Last time even 3 buses also cannot finish the crowd at the bus stop..
Actually deployment of articulated buses or 3x DD might end up affecting the route's turnover time provdided the demand is really too high...Originally posted by tanjun:SMRT deploys many bendies to its feeder services unlike SBST. SBST allocates dds more on trunk services.
Deploying 2axle ADDs are possible, but we dun have them in the 1st placeOriginally posted by iveco:I think those feeder routes with LAs in the past should continue using DDs.
If thats the case, S 291 and S 293 should get some DDs. But BNDEP does not deploy DDs as perm for S 293 since the NAC DDs are gone. I myself never seen A DD on S 293. But I have seen it in photos before.Originally posted by iveco:I think those feeder routes with LAs in the past should continue using DDs.

291 needs DD more than 19! at least during off peak hours
AF Open Hse, 300 ppl waiting put frequency at 30 mins, somemore do this abt 10 days bef fare hike announcement.... PuiOriginally posted by TIB1018B:Service 90 and 94 during the peak hours...fully packed and yet NAC buses being used![]()
Eh explain the existance of car transporters, heavy vehicles, and occasional LO2x (in the past) and LO3x sightings along the road (these buses are off service ones), if there is height restrictions or tight curves.Originally posted by choww:Dun think so..Last time i ask before but they never say because of height restriction..I think it is because of the narrow road turning to Lorong 8..
Which road are you talking about?Originally posted by Scania:Eh explain the existance of car transporters, heavy vehicles, and occasional LO2x (in the past) and LO3x sightings along the road (these buses are off service ones), if there is height restrictions or tight curves.
Perhaps at normal days, the demand for svc 90 and 94 is rather low and thus reflect on its frequency. However, the AF open hse causes demand for these svcs to increase but SBST should have known about this event and adjust the frequency. Maybe communication breakdownor insufficient buses?Originally posted by sbst275:AF Open Hse, 300 ppl waiting put frequency at 30 mins, somemore do this abt 10 days bef fare hike announcement.... Pui
I'm now waiting for their explanation...Originally posted by tanjun:Perhaps at normal days, the demand for svc 90 and 94 is rather low and thus reflect on its frequency. air-conditioned double decks CANNOT be 2-axled.Originally posted by sbst275:Deploying 2axle ADDs are possible, but we dun have them in the 1st place
Have you seen Trans400 or B7TL at London???Originally posted by SBS9818A:air-conditioned double decks CANNOT be 2-axled.
They are unsuitable for SG's humid climate. Doubt HK can have any use for them too.Originally posted by sbst275:Have you seen Trans400 or B7TL at London???
Yeah... That's sad, unless they can improve on itOriginally posted by iveco:They are unsuitable for SG's humid climate. Doubt HK can have any use for them too.
But they aren't air-conditioned....Originally posted by sbst275:Have you seen Trans400 or B7TL at London???
If not just have to stick to the 10.6m B9TLOriginally posted by stooper:But they aren't air-conditioned....
Refer to my post.Originally posted by iveco:Which road are you talking about?
Dont they always report that they have X.x million passengers taking their buses with a $XX million turnover?Originally posted by tanjun:Just to ask, does SBST have a record of how many passengers have utilised the various services daily and the amount of money earned from the various services?
