  I would like to ask a question: did the old Japanese CAC buses (the Hino HT238K and the Nissan U31SCN (not the U31RCN - the current CAC Japanese buses we have)) ever serve the bus routes in Yishun back in 1996/7/8? I remember seeing one CAC Nissan U31SCN on route 800 around that period, and also took one of them on route 854, but the air-conditioner were switched off and they operated as non-air conditioned buses then (I think it was common at that time to operate them like that?). I suspect I saw a Nissan U31SCN on route 171, but I was not sure (I do know that there was a U31RCN in recent times though...)
  
  Also, prior to their deployment on routes other than the old route 950 and routes 951 and 952, what was the kind of destos that those buses used? I remember that the air-conditioned CAC Nissans used destos with a blue background, and the numbers in white, while I vaguely recall seeing a CAC Hino on route 952 (I think), using a seemingly plastic desto with a black background (then-TIBS, from what I know, used cloth destos for most of their buses at that time). I do know that when the CAC Hinos started appearing on route 169, they also used plastic destos, which I think was also used on the first Dennis Lance buses when they arrived on route 169 (remember - the first Dennis Lance buses didn't have EDSes then). However, when the Hinos became CSS buses, from what I recall, they used the cloth destos. Did they change something in there, or was that particular type of bus designed to handle both types of destos?

  I have took it before, it dint sound the same as a usual LO2x, it sounded more like an LO3x.

  Could have been a Cummins L10. BTW, the Lynx also had a CUmmins engine, but it was horizontally mounted like the Merc OM447h.

  Remember that sv88 uses Scanias NAC when it just start operation..
