Single trip cameo. Driver is from 854, told me that he came in to "help" coz 4x 855 regular buses broke down.
I boarded it outside Macritchie Resv at about 1020 and reached YIS int at about 1045. The bus went back to depot after that. -

Route 980: unidentified Mercedes MB O405G Hispano Habit-bodied (seems like TIB 11?? ? - the one I saw has the old version of the seats) -
Too amazing. Just too amazing to see a bendy bus on route 980 on weekdays (I spotted it near Nee Soon Camp as I was waiting for my bus after collecting something from there - my face really went )
Did I just hear a crack? *looks at the sky* Uh-oh. *pieces of sky rain down everywhere*

i had 2 large lists so i had to make amendments, furthermore i dint sort my list and i was rushin as my laptop batt was runnin out so i edited it about 6/7 times in fact... i oso 4got about my 2nd list in my phone so i had to reedit again -

Paiseh, I only had my phone camera with me.
Pic was taken in Yishun Interchange after it went to park just after the trip, just before the driver turned off the EDS.

The road as well as the legs of the other driver in front of TIB975U on the above pic looks fake, but thats because of overexposure - the sun was strong and bright at 1045hrs.

Btw, today I saw SBS 7374B on svc 198. This funny bus which has lights on in the lower deck but lights all off in the upper deck. Trying to act romantic?? So this tells me that new things aren't always the best. -

Route 171 was the first bendy bus service in Singapore in 1996 with the introduction of TIB 838H.
I heard that there was not enough ridership, which is why bendy buses ceased to run on route 171. They did try to put bendy buses again sometime back on weekends, but even that failed. -
