6945K was 199 & later 179 x-over.Originally posted by toll123:sv 242 uses 3553, 7186, 7183, 6945 etc
that's all i can remember.
I think you mean the transfer of buses. Some 30 buses were transfered to 242. But I mean crossover, where buses do 2 services in a single day. So 6945K was a 199/179 bus, but would crossover to 242 in the early morning.Originally posted by JJ7788:yes..SBS 6945 did run on service 242 b4 x-ing over to service 199..but b4 it run on service 242..it use to be running on service 30 in the late 80's b4 service run partial ac..and so mostly service 242 Llo2 DD are from service 30..
30 to 242 Lo2 DD..SBS 6937,6945,6988,6996,7174,7181,7183,7186..
Sorry to burst your bubble , Lo2x DID serve 155 & 158. Anyone knows te rego for those 186's Lo2x?Originally posted by lemon1974:155/158 never use DD before.
72 is FAC when introduced.
For the LO2x, u miss out on SV4/21, 56 , 58(bishan to marina), 146, 186, 188.
SV 31 did use LO2x before.. remember seeing LO2x on it when it was extended to Toa Payoh from National Stadium.
I';ve seen Lo2x from 155 in SBS articles & i remembered that i got the 79 & 183's brochures from a Lo2x on 334.Originally posted by The_Bus_Guide:Hmm...10 is doubtful. I've never seen one as far as I can remember. VO2X yes, LO2X? Hmm....76? Definitely no. The present 76 is FAC from the start. The old 76 was withdrawn before the LO2X came. 79 also. The old 79 were all SD. The old old one was full DD but it was withdrawn long before the LO2X came. The present one was FAC from the start.
I've also never seen LOs on many other services mentioned above such as 74, 93, 155 etc. Perhaps someone can verify this?
OK, I'll crank my time machine again.
Services I know with LO2X or used to have at one point
7, 28, 30, 31?, 51, 70, 78, 90, 97, 98, 99, 140, 143, 147, 152, 153, 154, 157, 162 (demo!), 182, 183, 187, 192, 193, 196, 197, 198, 199.
As for feeders, only Jurong East and Boon Lay used the LO2x. Bishan's 410 also. Tampines, Pasir Ris and Choa Chu Kang used Atlanteans.
Well, I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. For the LO2x on 155 in the SBS article, it could have been a posed shot. As for 79 brochures on a sv. 334 LO2x, some joker could have left it there. More concrete evidence is needed to prove these claims. eg: a photograph or a bus tix.Originally posted by swee_heng:I';ve seen Lo2x from 155 in SBS articles & i remembered that i got the 79 & 183's brochures from a Lo2x on 334.
show me a picture of it. i been staying in toa payoh since the 80s... never ever i see any LO2x on SV 155....Originally posted by swee_heng:Sorry to burst your bubble , Lo2x DID serve 155 & 158. Anyone knows te rego for those 186's Lo2x?
Don't think the LO2x serve 155 and 158 before at all. Seriously did you see it or someone else give u the info? Don't give any wrong info here.Originally posted by swee_heng:Sorry to burst your bubble , Lo2x DID serve 155 & 158. Anyone knows te rego for those 186's Lo2x?

for 79 using LO2x, I remembered somebody saying that 79 did used LO2x in 2003 before it was phrased out but I can't confirm that.Originally posted by The_Bus_Guide:Well, I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. 7, yes. 14, 18 and 65, no. But they all have used VO2x before. 190 used LA.Originally posted by Volvo Olympian:Don't think 190 use LO2x before , i only know it uses VO2x before. As for 7 , 14 , 18 and 65 did it use LO2x before? hmmm...
173 used LO2x? Really? I don't think there was ever a DD on 173, was there? Neither the old 173 had DDs.Originally posted by TIB1049L:I only remembered seeing 158 using 0405s before

173 nvr use DD's before due to the roads at Jln Batu Nilam if im not wrong and also the Hillview Rd height restriction.Originally posted by The_Bus_Guide:173 used LO2x? Really? I don't think there was ever a DD on 173, was there? Neither the old 173 had DDs.

173 nv used DD in the first place at all.. the KTM train bridge at hillview (near standard charted bank) was too low (4.3M)..Originally posted by Volvo Olympian:173 nvr use DD's before due to the roads at Jln Batu Nilam if im not wrong and also the Hillview Rd height restriction.
I think 173 got use MK2 oso if im not wrong.Originally posted by manjieass:173 nv used DD in the first place at all.. the KTM train bridge at hillview (near standard charted bank) was too low (4.3M)..
173 use MK3s all the while until it was transfered to TIBS back then..
btw fyi guys..
LA = 361, 365, 367, 106, 138, 187
LO2X = 106, 187
MB305 = 5, 61, 75, 138, 187..
still got alot i cant think of cos i was still in primary sch back then..
187 didn't use O305 and LA. They have used LO2X from the start, IIRC. But I do remember SBS 7000E (Scania BR112DH) had a brief stint with 187. 106 had a full DD fleet of LAs, if I'm not mistaken. 75....did they use DDs? I recall Volvo SDs only, ie. B57 & B10M. As for 138, I assume you were referring to the old route and not the present one?Originally posted by manjieass:173 nv used DD in the first place at all.. the KTM train bridge at hillview (near standard charted bank) was too low (4.3M)..
