Chinatown Direct (CT Service)

  I personally felt that this services does not met the profit. As their ridership are super low. Especially CT 28, which had only 0 to 1 or 2 people in a 40- seater strider. Such a waste! Somemore this bus do not end at a bus interchange! Clementi? I thought they had svc 147 to chinatown? Why sbs transit just do not want to extend it to serve the other communters need? Places like Bukit Batok, Boon Lay,Jurong West Extension??

  CT8 and CT18 also no end in interchange. ang mo kio has 166, bedok has 33. SO??

  You sure super low or not (Other than CT28 ), you dont know then dont crap so much. I got lots of pics (interior) of CT18 to prove you WRONG!!!!

  Hey fool, if SBS transit says that it is cutting cost? why they waste money on this services when they do not work it out to improve the ridership? After that, they would be raising the bus fare. BTW, chickenlittle is this one! Fool!

  And you shouldnt eat sour grapes coz CT28 doesnt serve Jurong West/Boon Lay and yet it serves Clementi.

  Don't know about the other CT services, but CT8 is pretty popular around AMK area.
  
  There are quite a lot of Chinese folks there, and most of them likes to visit Chinatown once in a while. During public holidays, CT8 is rather crowded. It's worse when CNY is nearing.

  I seen some people take CT8 WITHIN Ang Mo Kio only, same case for CT18. Only difference is CT8's route is not 100% duplicated with other services while CT18 100% duplicate 506 except for 1 miserable stop outside prison. Also 506 is cheaper than CT18.
  CT18 ridership not bad. The highest ridership i saw was new year eve going to Bedok at night 100% full (Really full, not dint move into rear) and some people need to wait 30 mins more for next bus Weekends ridership is quite good although CT8 still better. Weekday first bus almost seatless(TO Chinatown of coz). First bus from Chinatown 11am sometimes got 1/2 people.
  CT18 also got malay take (Bedok wad).
