Simply someone complained abt SBS buses being old (This is true as they on their wish went on to extend MK2 and CRBs lifespan though they've promised to retire them once they've reached the stat lifespan)Originally posted by Volvo Olympian:Huh? I don't understand leh![]()
I only agreed on the 1st and second paragraph only,It's time they buy a few units of Volvo B9L & Scania K94UB 230 and maybe a few Korean zero step single deckers as well,Third ones i strongly disagreed,I mean it's the way.Originally posted by sbst275:Simply someone complained abt SBS buses being old (This is true as they on their wish went on to extend MK2 and CRBs lifespan though they've promised to retire them once they've reached the stat lifespan)
Then it talked abt Sv 74 and 151 NAC fleet... The writer said that it could be because ppl paying concession fare, so SBS to save cost go to deploy NAC buses for this 2 sv
Another is regards to why buses often never stop at the bus stop, either brunching or packed buses
They were supposed to retire in 2005 - 2006Originally posted by Y_Shun:i tot MK2 shld end their life tis year right? but extend another 2 years...

Yeah! LOL. Especially WA Scanias. Truthfully, I think the only SMRT buses which have strong A/Cs are the Habits and Volgren Bendies.Originally posted by sbst275:Always end up water dripping
Go take the Habits, and you will get it. Btw SMRT buses suffer from air-con outlets dripping of water, its just so irritating. When you just fell asleep, a droplet of cold water can just wake you up instantly!Originally posted by XTransbus:sbs aircon conder than SMRT wad. yeah man.. habits are damn cold especially those newer ones (seat handles which are diff)..Originally posted by Scania N113CRB luver:Go take the Habits, and you will get it. SBST WA mercs some even worse. Non stop drizzling when there is rain or after rain stoppedOriginally posted by manjieass:yeah man.. habits are damn cold especially those newer ones (seat handles which are diff)..

Volvo B9TLs and B10TLs operated by SBS Transit have Nippondenso aircon units, not Sutraks.Originally posted by stooper:For SBST, especiall ythose with Sutrak A/Cs, which include the newest B10TL, B9TL, and many more (and also some CACs). The Leyland's Nippondenso are also strong if you sit on the lower deck.
