Dont think so, that cost them 100+ million. But anyway what bus model would you like to see? I want to see the Mercedes OC500LE or the Citaro! Scania or AlexanderDennis buses would be good too.Originally posted by Y_Shun:Maybe after they refurbished all their trains? leftover then buy some buses for you.
If not enough money, just kope more Nissans from CSS...Originally posted by Y_Shun:Maybe after they refurbished all their trains? leftover then buy some buses for you.

IF... IF you knew... IF you can... IF you're god... Nothing is perfect.Originally posted by manjieass:seriously, i think SMRT is having a big problem.. so many kawasaki trains are old + nissan cac/oac and then + the scania elbo/wa tat rocks like hell.. if they solve all these problems then i think SMRT would be perfect..
if u keep quiet no one wil blame you cos your out of topic..Originally posted by off_service:IF... IF you knew... IF you can... IF you're god... Nothing is perfect.
What I'm trying to say, if we are thinking of all the best case scenarios, we wouldn't have any more ideas or feedbacks to contribute to our bus companies. It is not that SMRT is having a big problem, it is just probably their management feels it's not time to expand fleet yet.Originally posted by manjieass:if u keep quiet no one wil blame you cos your out of topic..

Your so called 'big' problem only focuses on the buses and trains. Sure, they are old but they are still working aren't they? The trains still run, the buses still run, you get to your destination. The above statements are just your personal rants, if you ask me. There are other real problems which needs attention.Originally posted by manjieass:seriously, i think SMRT is having a big problem.. so many kawasaki trains are old + nissan cac/oac and then + the scania elbo/wa tat rocks like hell.. if they solve all these problems then i think SMRT would be perfect..

As of now, SMRT had submitted proposals to enchance services in one of their towns. This is all the information I got from their reply. So let's hope for the best, if these proposals are approved, we see new buses.
Meanwhile, we just tolerate with what they have to offer.
so if u say they gets you to destinations, would you pay $2++ to ride on an NEL train which is fast and cooling or rather pay $2++ to ride on an old kawasaki train which jerks so much and is warm and stuffy?? = CAC/OAC nissan vs B9TL??Originally posted by The_Bus_Guide:Your so called 'big' problem only focuses on the buses and trains. Yes.. I do agree that no feedbacks = no improvement.. But have you guys thought about it ? Is your feedback constructive or not constrctive at all ? This is where it lies the main problem. In other countries, when the people give feedbacks, they feedback in a way that they are not scolding or complaining to the companies. They feedback on HOW the company should improve in some areas that they are not doign well in. Over here, from the experience of reading the STI and from various Forums, it seems that you guys are too pampered. And alot of times, i see no constructive stuff inside the so called "Feedbacks" to the companies. All i see are hatred words inside as if the writer is trying to get back to the company. I'm not pointing fingers. But you guys go ahead and think about it. Is YOUR feedback a good one ? Or is it just a flaming letter trying to think about it ? Think about it before you give any other "Flaming" Letter.Originally posted by manjieass:so if u say they gets you to destinations, would you pay $2++ to ride on an NEL train which is fast and cooling or rather pay $2++ to ride on an old kawasaki train which jerks so much and is warm and stuffy?? = CAC/OAC nissan vs B9TL??
