Bus games using actual engine/gearbox recordings

  Hey guys! Do you think it is possible to use the actual recordings on games such as bus simulators? Cuz i think that current/present bus games are not realistic at all! With those manual gearshifting sound and all those unrealistic gearshifting "behavior". I dont think there is any games that feature actual gearbox/engine sounds.   if you have not been following, there will be a bus sim that will come out during winter, early winter or late winter i dunno, my guess is 2007 Feb. i'll update if there are more news about it

  I noe about that. Its called "bus Driver" right? Just pray that it will be as realistic as possible! Even the website is not really that detailed. But it mentioned that the game contains a DD bus for you to drive! I suppose the graphics shld be similar to 18 Wheels of steel: Convoy. Anyone wants to buy one when it is released?

  For the 'bus driver', if it had realeased, I wish Replay Interactive will do something and publish this in Singapore. I hope it would be $9.95, cheap!

  Maybe u can go find those HK mm2 modders to help u put it on a MK3. They made Vo3x sound very real.

  Hais......sad lah. Hard to find the MM2 game anymore, me only got the MM3 on XBox. Wah if not, you can drive the VO3x, LO3x, VSO, Dennis Trident etc. with real recordings! Somemore i heard you can open the doors! Hmm.... VO3x sound real? That's good! But i prefer the SG version of the LO3x.

  No. You can't open doors, there's only one mod where they replaced the horn with doors and opening and closing sound for the VO3X Volgren(KMB). You can have interior lights though but they're on all the time during night and evening. Yes, i agree the mm2 KMB VO3X bus addon sounds real.
  i have midtown madness 2 and mindtown madness but if you wannna play mm2, it's best that you don't run it on win xp or use a nvidia graphics card(use integrated one is the best). in the mean time, i'll look for real working patch so that you can run in on win xp and on nvidia cards.

  there are several versions of the bus. Usually there will be two version up for downloads, one is ZF and the other is Voith.

  yes. We call it mm2 for short
  there isn't many buses for gta series. The only good one is the Marcopolo Viale III

  yeah. about the bus game i'm not sure when will it come out. One thing si for sure though, you'll need to wait for atleast 2mths for the game to appear in stores around SG after the game is launched.
