Use headphones please, not everyone appreciates the same brand of musicOriginally posted by tortoise55:My gf told me once that she saw a bus driver told a student that he cannot use his hp to play his mp3 in the bus because it was not allow on the bus. Is there such a rule??I do not remember there is such a rule before...
I agree. Its fine if its played softly. But if its played loudly like radio, it becomes very irritating, especially when you are trying to catch some sleep before and after work.Originally posted by pie:Use headphones please, not everyone appreciates the same brand of music
Precisely, I don't have to sit there and be assailed by someone's taste in music.Originally posted by pie:Use headphones please, not everyone appreciates the same brand of music

I think tis VO.. BATCH 2/3 (red seats)...
I agree. Sometimes, the blasted music is louder than TV mobile, and the combined noise (music + TV mobile) is damn irritating.Originally posted by LazerLordz:Precisely, I don't have to sit there and be assailed by someone's taste in music.
Can't seem to understand why those idiots like to play radio station and rebro around the damned bus.![]()

I wouldn't be surprised if these youths are beaten up one day by working adults coming home after a tiring day at the office and the gym.Originally posted by autumncs:I agree. Sometimes, the blasted music is louder than TV mobile, and the combined noise (music + TV mobile) is damn irritating.
Once I took a 30 in the morning and a group of malay students blasted very loud music. A chinese lady asked them to lower the volume. One of the guys shouted back at her "You want to sleep, is it?" The lady replied yes. Then the whole bunch of them laughed and jeered, and the guy with the radio turned up the volume!!!!! (I was sitting directly in front of them and I almost became deaf.) When that bunch of students alighted at Old Airport Rd, everyone on the bus gave a sigh of relief!!!
In my opinion, loud music is equivalent to cigarette smoke. Both of them are polluting, are irritating to other people, and are harmful to health.
Yeah, please don't contribute to all the yakking, tvmobile, and the aircon. Sometimes I just feel overwhelmed and helpless with all the sounds.Originally posted by LazerLordz:I wouldn't be surprised if these youths are beaten up one day by working adults coming home after a tiring day at the office and the gym.
Can't afford headphones, don't listen to mp3s on the go then..
