But SBST states that BC's have to be on schedule. Early or late, they have to regulate their speeds so that they arrive on time while following their timetable. -

Wah lao eh dun complain bus slow lar , my side here bus 197 sometime go so slow that i feel like i sitting on a tortise walking down the rd . Takes more then an hr from bugis to jurong east . By the time reach home so damm late liao can slp inside untill wake up 3 time n still along ayer rajah nia . As long as no accident i dun care how fast they speed lor . I remember taking a cab in bangkok , where this driver drive like some rally driver zipping in n out of big n small rd taking only 15mins from the night market to our d,ma hotel whereas another cab took almost an hr to reach .

I also remember two trips on a bus.
I got onto SBS 0711H on Townlink 293, heading home after school. The bus driver was so fast that I couldn't even stand still to retrieve my wallet so that I can tap my ez-link card!
The next day, I got onto the same bus and the same thing happened!
But the fastest I only knew, to my knowledge, was on a Scania N113CRB OAC. Like I said earlier, I told my mother that the bus was so fast that I thought it was one of those Japanese bullet trains. -
Today, I rode for the first time a fast VO3x on 179!
He managed to achieve 60km/h (and more...) both inside and outside NTU... Some more he accelerate down the hill! Luckily, the bus was rather empty and not piled up till the front door
He did a 21min round on 179, overtook 2 LO3x and also the MK2 cameo... Some more he is a standby BC! The 179 record is 17min out of 35min so he wasn't that far away... -
You all had never knew how I rode on 900A. Standing at the turn table of 1183G at Champions Way. After Innova JC got one hump then on the left lane got a container and the right lane got a Mercedes Cab moving in. The BC just cheong in between without stopping People standing at the turn table (incl. me) 'jumped' in the air and some almost fell down!
But now think olredi lyk rollercoaster ride -
I think u can try taking SBS 340U in svc 242. That chinese old man, he likes to accelerate throughtout the whole journey. Even when the bus is getting near the bus stop, he just keep on accelerating and had a hard brake.

I took a Nissan U31RCN (CSS 192T) on route 178 all the way from Boon Lay to Woodlands just now (don't ask how I survived it, I also don't know myself
), and it was a completely stomach-churning ride. And no, it was not just the suspension ( ), but somehow the driver managed to push it to it's limits, so we now have a Nissan U31RCN that sped along large stretches of many roads like AYE, Jurong Town Hall Road, Woodlands Road, and the like (not too sure, as I was asleep for much of the journey), and at the final approach coming down the slope on Marsiling Rise, turning into Woodlands Avenue 5, I really thought, "this is it, we are going to crash". I mean, he was doing expressway speeds over here and over there (I swear that it's more than 60km/h... maybe even 70 or even 80 
). And we all thought Nissans are slow as snails .
Oh, and one more thing - this outcast of a Nissan not only proved itself to be a worthy speed master, it's air-conditioning also worked, and not only that, the air it give out was actually cold enough to make me feel freezing and fog up the windows! -

SBS Transit most frantic svc has to be 154... esp frm 8pm onwards... usually at 5pm on weekdays from Boon Lay Int to Eunos Int can take upto 2hr 05 mins... well after that at 10pm expected to take 1hr35mins and at midnight 1hr05mins... 1hour very big diff liao... then peak hour rest periods are 30-45mins but at 10pm rest periods range frm 3-7mins... a driver rest 3mins juz get off bus go tap at int then zhao liao

Yesterday, when I was going home with my father from SITEX 2006 held at Singapore Expo, I got onto SBS 3721J from Bedok North Ave 2. I was unsure whether the bus driver was young or old. Then the bus went so fast that my legs almost swinging about.
I asked my father on his opinions about the bus riding so fast. Luckily I got a seat, and did not bump onto anything. -
