Upper Thomson Road ( 165,166,167)Originally posted by autumncs:Hmm... Bishan interchange may not have the most bus services, but it has the longest series of consecutive numbers (52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59).
Some other bus stops with consecutive numbers
Yishun Int (851, 852, 853, 854, 855, 856, 857) (Too bad 858 doesn't go into Yishun Int. If not we'll have 851 to 859 continuously...)
Woodlands Int (960, 961, 962, 963, 964, 965, 966)
Jln Besar & Serangoon Road (64, 65, 66, 67)
Old Airport Road (30, 31, 32, 33)
You guys can add on if you can think of more examples...
By the way, residents in East Tampines are very lucky, cos they have a lot of "8"s and "9"s... Haha...
Tampines Ave 2 - Tampines East CC (8, 18, 28, 38 )
Tampines Ave 7 -TPJC (9, 19, 29, 39, 59)
Tampines/Pasir Ris also have some other lucky numbers such as 68, 88, 168... (168 can claim to be the luckiest number for the Cantonese because it sounds like "prosper all the way")
I wonder whether SMRT will introduce something like 888 or 988...
Consecutive odd numbersOriginally posted by JJxJJ:Upper Thomson Road ( 165,166,167)
Jalan Bukit Merah ( 196,197,198 )
MacPherson Road ( 64,65,66 )
Old Airport Road (30,31,32,33)
You know, I have also noticed that bus route's numbers out in the east, and not just Tampines, gets a lot of the 8s and 9s. For starters, all but one of the bus routes than go to or pass by Changi Village ends in 9 (9, 19, 29, 59, 89, 109), two of the three bus routes from Bishan to the east contains a '8' or '9' (58, 59), and there's also 48 (Upper East Coast), 39, 69, and 87. The two remaining Townlink routes in Pasir Ris are 358 and 359, and Tampines feeder routes are all 29X, not to mention there's 228 and 229 in Bedok. Strangely, Changi Airport seems to be excluded, with only 24, 27, 34, 36, and 53. The exception is SMRT's 858, and don't forget there was a route 989 too.Originally posted by autumncs:By the way, residents in East Tampines are very lucky, cos they have a lot of "8"s and "9"s...
