Singapore's World Class Transport System - At the airport

  Well, As above, here u can see Singapore's world class transportation system, and impatient people exhausted after waiting 30(THIRTY) Minutes for a Bus.

  Bet its 27 AND 34.
  Remeber IKEA opens today. Alot of people take these two services. causing a big Time gap between buses. Road outside IKEA is also jammed although its a 3 lane road.

  Half correct, 34 was as pack as sardines, but the people in the queue there waited even longer, so still got one more service

  I guess it would be the airport services, like svc 27.
  
  Cos i heard from the BC that there's an accident at Terminal 1 at the airport, all the buses stuck there.

  I go to the north from the airport, thus it dosent make sense for me to take the train as the traveling time will be much longer.

  Yeah! If you go BNL around 6pm ah. You see the 12m 187 buses. All piled up to the door, and still got some people cannot board...

  When I saw that photo, the first, last, and only number that came to my mind was:

  And it was no surprise that it was. SMRT is renowned for extreme corner cutting so that they can get more money for their big fat pockets .
  
  Personally, whenever I want to wait for a route 858 bus at Changi Airport, countless route 24, 27, 34, 36, and 53 buses could have came and went. Sometimes, I actually take 27 or 34 to Tampines/Sengkang/Punggol to switch to another bus to the north, and the wait is usually, if not always shorter. The only one time when I waited for a long time for an SBS Transit bus route there was for route 36, and even then, it was affected by the National Day Parade (if I remember correctly).

  for me, the worst wait was for S10 on NDP Preview.
  
  near Lau Pa Sat towards Tampines.
  
  9.25pm to 10.00pm.

  The last time i saw 858 at Changi Airport or ECP was 5 years back (Been to CGA for about 10 times since i seen the last 85

  858 isn't really that bad la.
  3 858's went past me before I could take 965, and that's when I was in Northpoint.

  Maybe it is due to tighten security check by the Airport Police or due to some fault with the barrier?
  
  All these may cause buses (SBST and SMRT inclusive) which called at PT1/2 to be severely affected and late.
  
  Just my 2 cents of thought

  Oh yes, forgot to add in. After that 858 finally came, the whole bus was already full, at the T2 police checkpoint, the police who came up to check didnt even check half the bus before giving up, totally packed to the door. Some passengers at T2 didnt get onboard too.

  But quite evident that something happened as every stop along tampines 5,4 n 7 got about 80 ppl waiting for svc 27

  Aiyah, SMRT make the buses speed like crazy sometimes end up skipping bus stops
