Paying cash for student concession fare

  This is a tip from me.Make sure that your ez link card have insufficient value for the trip before you decide to pay cash.Some drivers will ask you to tap your card(to make sure that u are a student) before issusing you the ticket.Saw one incident last saturday on sv133,SBS0576G asking the person to tap the card before issusing the ticket.Luckily it was a '5 beep sound'.Or else double fare will be made.

  Thanks for reminding me. SBS 0576G had been cameo on 22 before and I got onto that bus when it was on 22.

  If u happen to have money in ur ezlink then u tap and still want to pay cash, u can ask BC to cancel trip but i tink some BCs either duno cancel trip or clean forgotten about it

  Can save like loads from paying adult EZ-Linked fare. Think long term

  The tapping is to make sure the concession card is valid. If there is credit in the card the BC is required to cancel. If he forgets or doesn't know how to, tell him press #5 on the IDFC.
