New route for Service 200 and Route Extension for Service 95

based on ur description, 216 fits the bill. buona vista was formerly known as commonwealth ave terminal, because there wasn't a commonwealth avenue west beyond the malayan railway in the 70s, and buses terminated there. buona vista estate was supposed to be neighbourhood 5 of commonwealth new town.

Seriously, a service between NUS and Dover MRT would be good, especially for those who take MRT from the east. 96 is always crowded and the eastbound traffic on C'wealth Ave West during morning peak hour is horrendous... (The right turn from C'wealth Ave West to Clementi Rd always take an eternity) A bus from Dover MRT to NUS would be faster, since there's no traffic junction between Dover MRT and Clementi Rd... -
nus compared to ntu, has got so many trunk svcs to other regions of sg
ntu only got 2 feeder to boon lay, perhaps it's time they do something to ntu services -
nus and ntu distance is far apart... if more svces to ntu where does it terminate then... jurong east? buona vista? town? east?... east to far liao... nus at least still more centralised compared with NIE/NTU

i have suggested a peak hour service from CCK in 2004 along the lines of 172e but Tibs didn't want it...
in the same manner, SBS Transit wants to take pax to its own interchanges/terminals and not an area that is exclusive to SMRT's, and if it had to review 96's routing it will definitely choose Clementi Int over Dover MRT. -

Hmm... Interesting... Kent Ridge Rd and Island View Rd used to be linked... But now Kent Ridge Rd and Kent Ridge Crescent are separated by the Central Library. Is the amemded service 200 looping at Kent Ridge Terminal? The notice did not say it is a loop service but from its website it says so.
And also i heard that sv95 have 4 shortworking trips, 95A, 95B, 95C and new 95D. Can list down where each of the 4 shortworking trips start and end and also the timing? -

no wonder original 95 frequency is like 30 mind
anyway, the old trips:
95A: morning peak, From BNV Terminal to NUH, but the buses hardly starts from holland Drive, and the desto says its a loop service
95B: Evening peak service from kent ridge to BNV MRT
95C: Morning peak service from opp BNV MRT to Lower Kent Ridge, Kent Ridge Hall.. the most frequent service
another joker is 92A.. in the mornings, commences from anywhere, but "terminates" at its terminating point, which is science park I -

200 frequency in the mornings is about 7 minutes at its best
off peak about 33 mins
normally only SBS1724P and SBS1895D -

The strider and my mk2 met at South Buona Vista before Lower Kent Ridge there the bus stop then SBS1895D and my bus met at the next bus stop and the 2nd bus was empty Then the time diff between my bus and 1895 was about 40 mins
