  Huh ? I DO know that the B10Ms do have dress rims previously . That includes the mk2 . I remember that the MK2 dress rims were painted red in the past .

  Nope . I've seen mk4s having dress rims on too. The only mk4 that i saw it in person with dress rims on is SBS1984E i think. The rest i saw them in pics .

  The old unit of interior LED display of TIB 727 U can be said as the ancestor to the current SMRT next stop displays. TIBS had it installed on 727U as a trial. Apparently things did not really work out.

  Most (if not all) SLBP Mercs have their rims taken off. I think some AMDEP Mercs too. Now SMRT's AMDEP is following suit..

  u shld see old photos of 997A, it had dress rims when it was on 76, by the time it completed its round-the-island run with 107 and 174, it was alrd gone!

  TIB727 was the trial bus on s167 that was fitted with the next bus stop announcement and display in 1996
  
  these ran a trail for dunno how many months
  
  it failed obviously.
  
  incidentally 167 was also one of the first bus to have rear plastic destos
