  i dun think theres such a bus that x-over 8/124...probably just 2741H did 8 in AM s shift and then PM s shift it did 124 but by different drivers with different timesheets

  SBS906M had a Svc 58 tix in the validator, dated 13JY (13 July). Timing was 10+am. (can't rmb) I took it on Svc 5 around 5:10pm. Timetable was 32S. Quite likely it is a crossover, as it is S-shift.
  
  I took SBS2741H around 1:10 pm. There were a bunch of Svc 8 tix (10+) in the validator, also dated 13JY. Timing was around 9:27am.

  On some feeder services, you can commonly see tickets dated from the previous day if the BC never clear the ticket dispenser.

  Since u know it is 32S, did you see any Sv58 writed in the timesheet?

  All 124 buses do full day. Higher chance its a breakdown cameo for the 8/124 case.
  
  5/58 is impossible. 58 does have xovers but not from service 5. and since u said its 32S. the driver took a different bus in the morning then 906M in the evening. 906M did AM peak S shift by ANOTHER driver.
  
  Henceforth, i consider both cases of xover INVALID

  Let me tell you something, the 26 crossover to 238 in the morning, which used to be done by the 20S (26) shift, is now done by 6A with the same timing using the same bus (SBS 266B).

  The WA Mercs are longer than the DM Mercs, same as Mk2, WA is 12m, DM is 11+m.

  But seating capacity still the same. MK IIs can carry 51 seating pax while O405s can take 47 (now 41), regardless of which body kit they have.

  DM Mercs are 11650mm, whereas WA Mercs are 11631mm.

  ok lets explain clearly...
  
  e.g
  lets take SBS172M since it has done every BR svc le...
  Morning 6am SBS7485P from BRBP 143 doing 47S Shift the engine cant start so SBS172M is put as a replacement. it does the trips until 10am where the BC goes back to the depot and has a swing... lets say by then SBS7485P is back and kickin so it later does the trips after the swing...so later SBS247G breaks down when the BC was starting the 8E Shift after the swing (afternoon) on BRBP 232... so they replace the bus with SBS172M to do the PM E Shift...so thus this bus does 2 services in 1 day...

  That shows that SLBP did his/her 'homework'. Good job done by SLBP. Just hope that they keep to this standard and make bus maintainence better.
