I think there could be some exceptions. TIB 1111 P did round trip on NR2 for New Year Eve 2007.Originally posted by carbikebus:The bendies deployed on Nightrider services during eves of Christmas & New year operates only one direction instead of looping and its driven mostly by full timers
always put SP bus do 143..i dunno for what...the usual sp contenders on 143: 9003J, 9012H, 9018S, 9019P, 9024Z, 9068Y...the buses i indicated are in the roster so they should be perm but like ive said they keep doing other services and other sp do 143Originally posted by stooper:9094X also been cameoing around lately, ever since removal of ads.
Paint seat backs? They don't paint seat backs.Originally posted by stooper:Today took SBS97Y (BR 157). Also mini-refurbrishment.
Flooring was replaced (lighter sparkling floor),
All seat backs repainted to light grey
Roof painted white
Emergency Exit (interior) and associated parts repainted light grey
New light pink fabric for the roof emergency exit
Yes they do. If not, how do they cover the vulgarities written on seatbacks of buses?Originally posted by dfs24:Paint seat backs? They don't paint seat backs.
Yeah, all seats backs painted nicely. Still got the new paint smell...Originally posted by SBS1984E:Yes they do. If not, how do they cover the vulgarities written on seatbacks of buses?
Not a bad list anyway. On my next trip to Boon Lay (scheduled, if possible, around Mid-October to December), I will use this to catch SBS 3863H, SBS 9064H and SBS 9162H. Furthermore, it will be easy to check the time from this complicated self made timesheet, the bus that is being replaced.Originally posted by stooper:Don't know where to post this, so I'll post this here.
Here is latest 179 and 242 timetable!

Parts which are blank means not sure of the exact timings.
Thanks! Why those 3 specific buses?Originally posted by TWS4793:Not a bad list anyway. On my next trip to Boon Lay (scheduled, if possible, around Mid-October to December), I will use this to catch SBS 3863H, SBS 9064H and SBS 9162H.
SBS 3863H is my favourite SLBP Merc DM CAC.Originally posted by stooper:Thanks! Why those 3 specific buses?
And view in "Print Preview" mode to get rid of the vertical bars so it looks less messy
Alot of loop services do that.Originally posted by TWS4793:2. At Bedok Interchange, some BCs use Berth B6 (Service 17 and 38 occupies here), which is adjacent to alighting berths B7 and B8, as their alighting berth. I notice that BCs of Service 17 would always do that (probably because the bus is late).
The old 74A was withdrawn and 165 extended from AMK to HGN in 1/95.Originally posted by off_service:74A first existed as a service between Upper Serangoon and Ang Mo Kio Stn. It was only converted to a SWT between Hougang Central and Ngee Ann Poly in the mid 1990s, probably after Hougang Central opened.
Can anyone shed more info on the operating hours? I remembered taking this old 74A on Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons.
#1: Neither does 22 stop outside Century Sq. You gotta board from the bus station.Originally posted by TWS4793:1. Some passengers of Service 22 are unaware that Service 22 buses do not stop at the bus stop outside Tampines Stadium (the last stop before Tampines Interchange).

I remembered it operated on AM peak hours, not sure about other times. The buses were always DDs. (uses Times New Roman fonts). the fonts was the way of differentiating them from normal 74.Originally posted by off_service:74A first existed as a service between Upper Serangoon and Ang Mo Kio Stn.
