They resticker it, that's why the metal strips are not so distinctive now.Originally posted by chickenlittle2:Nowadays find out that the repainting job for VO3x (batch 1) are very nice.. Not only painiting the small portion at the back of the side windows black that looks like VO3x (batch 2 or 3). I think due to multiple times of painting, the metals strips at the side now does not appear so visible, sometimes I mistook them as VO3x(batch 2) from far.. Some gd job like SBS 9365P on svc 179 and some other on Svc 196.. By the way, the paint job on SBS 9365P seems to be repainted by BBDEP..
You can feedback to the co about this,They keep all the badges at the workshop.I've once feedback about TIB1057M Merc badge and they only attach the Hispano badge only.Originally posted by stooper:They resticker it, that's why the metal strips are not so distinctive now.
But because they resticker it, they rip off all the buses badges...
SBS9365P used to have an almost complete set of badges, only thing was a missing Alexander badge at the front. Now, it has no badges at all in both the front and rear...
Same for LO3x. Buses like SBS9028M, SBS9049C all have no badges at all.

really ,wow , what about 1-4 mins for smrt .Originally posted by dfs24:1. SBS833G has got no side desto holder.
2. If SMRT drivers are more than 4 minutes early, they are charged $11+ per minute early.
This "lazy" culture of Service 975 drivers has been there ever since the 1st day of Service 975...Originally posted by SBS3688Y:I think its misleading for loop svc like svc 975 to display "BUKIT PANJANG" on the front EDS when its actually heading towards LCK. It should display "LIM CHU KANG" instead.
More than 3 mins but less than 10 mins warning if caught.Exceeds 10 min bonus cut unless instructed by BOCC.Originally posted by dfs24:1. SBS833G has got no side desto holder.

Well, it shows they arent making fill use of the EDS feature. SBS loop services only use 1 side desto, showing the terminating point of the route and the streets it calls at.Originally posted by SBS3688Y:I think its misleading for loop svc like svc 975 to display "BUKIT PANJANG" on the front EDS when its actually heading towards LCK. not all loop svc use 1 side desto. those svc looping at siglap rd uses 2-sided destos.Originally posted by iveco:Well, it shows they arent making fill use of the EDS feature. SBS loop services only use 1 side desto, showing the terminating point of the route and the streets it calls at.

some other loop services like 123, CACC services, 60 etc have 2-sided destos while some other long laul services like 133, 195, 502, 162 etc, although have a 'simplified' 1 side desto in which the destination are stated in the 3rd locations in the destoOriginally posted by musli_bar:not all loop svc use 1 side desto. those svc looping at siglap rd uses 2-sided destos.
then again, svc 15 has a side desto reading 'Pasir Ris to Marine Parade (Loop)' squeezed into one line![]()
Before the route amendment, Express 502 terminate at BNL and they use double side desto. After the route extension to Pioneer Rd nth, they change it to the single side desto..Originally posted by toll123:some other loop services like 123, CACC services, 60 etc have 2-sided destos while some other long laul services like 133, 195, 502, 162 etc, although have a 'simplified' 1 side desto in which the destination are stated in the 3rd locations in the desto
I think the most ideal is to label the side destos for all loop services like svc 15 as mentioned. In this way, drivers need not change the destos. To check which direction its heading, just adapt SMRT style by indicating the destination below each svc no on the bus-stop plates.Originally posted by musli_bar:not all loop svc use 1 side desto. those svc looping at siglap rd uses 2-sided destos.
