  TIB480E looks like it has a new EDS. looks like those from 595H and 484U, just that its green and brighter.

  3733A also refurbished , flooring nicely done , sparkling , new bell chime , bell buttons , even a/c vent painted white ( inside bus )
  
  slowly all the 0405 CAC being refurbished in SL
  
  so far , 3755L 3757G 3732C 3733A 3858Z have been done .

  You must understand. last time, when the buses were under TIBS, you will not be able to find the buses in a state like this. But ever since it became under SMRTB, it's a totally different story.

  Buses sound like one another is due to the gearbox that they are using. The list will just go on and on.......

  Laid-up means that the bus' road tax was freezed and not allowed on the roads till SMRT or SBS wants to remove lay-up status as they wish. TIB118X was thought to be laid-up till 2008 but it came out 6 months after being released from KJDEP Repairs. Actually, you could lay up a bus and release 'lay up status' only at specific dates, depending on what date the bus was registered

  SBS7209X sounds very similar to a DM3500! The Voith whistle when decelerating is very loud and the way the bus shifts down (i.e. the pauses between the gears) sound exactly like the DM3500.
  
  I haven't taken other VO2x wth such resemblance to a DM3500 yet...
