Ain't there no signal in Changi Airport terminals?Originally posted by Scania:Of course it is weak, but can it be as weak as Changi Airport?
CT8.Originally posted by iveco:Nowadays still got buses plying CTE meh?
I believe KPE also can't receive TVM.
CT18 and CT28 also.Originally posted by ^tamago^:CT8.
You are not answering my question.Originally posted by tintinspartan:Laid-up means that the bus' road tax was freezed and not allowed on the roads till SMRT or SBS wants to remove lay-up status as they wish. TIB118X was thought to be laid-up till 2008 but it came out 6 months after being released from KJDEP Repairs. Actually, you could lay up a bus and release 'lay up status' only at specific dates, depending on what date the bus was registered
Some of the Premium Services also uses CTEOriginally posted by Scania:CT18 and CT28 also.
Is it a Volvo B7RLE as well ? Also Voith too ?Originally posted by off_service:Sentosa has a new open top DD, RU 4290 D.
Same for Sengkang Interchange too (more towards the inner part)Originally posted by Scania:Of course it is weak, but can it be as weak as Changi Airport?
B7R Open Top. Sentosa buses should be ZF, easier to climb the hills.Originally posted by Scania N113CRB luver:Is it a Volvo B7RLE as well ? Also Voith too ?![]()
Wah . A high floored open top DD. Must take a look !Originally posted by ^tamago^:B7R Open Top. Sentosa buses should be ZF, easier to climb the hills.
same as tis. it is still low floor base (like our Olympians) cos it's engines are rear-mounted (again, like our Olympians) just that it is not a low-entry model.Originally posted by Scania N113CRB luver:Wah . It is a B7RLE, check manufacturer compliance plate if have, just that Sentosa register it as B7R Open Top, like TIBS registering 4 of their Hinos as Dennises.Originally posted by ^tamago^:same as tis. it is still low floor base (like our Olympians) cos it's engines are rear-mounted (again, like our Olympians) just that it is not a low-entry model.

Any reason for doing so?Originally posted by Scania:It is a B7RLE, check manufacturer compliance plate if have, just that Sentosa register it as B7R Open Top, like TIBS registering 4 of their Hinos as Dennises.
omg.Originally posted by Scania:It is a B7RLE, check manufacturer compliance plate if have, just that Sentosa register it as B7R Open Top, like TIBS registering 4 of their Hinos as Dennises.
Your sentence abit unclear. The bus is low floor base but not low entry?Originally posted by ^tamago^:same as tis. it is still low floor base (like our Olympians) cos it's engines are rear-mounted (again, like our Olympians) just that it is not a low-entry model.
It's like our Olympians are one-step entry but the floor is still low enough to accomodate a second level on top.Originally posted by Scania N113CRB luver:Your sentence abit unclear. The bus is low floor base but not low entry?![]()
Ah i see . Thanks for the info.Originally posted by ^tamago^:It's like our Olympians are one-step entry but the floor is still low enough to accomodate a second level on top.
It's also like how the Tibs Scania L113CRL ELBO is zero-step low-entry while the rest are one-step entry.
It really depends on how you see it, but most rear mounted chassis can support a second deck. Many years ago there was even the B10MD.![]()
Any reason for asking this question? Its what people who are interested in VINs and GENs (Vehicle Information) do.Originally posted by iveco:Any reason for doing so?
But registering a Hino HSK as a Dennis Lance seems dodgy, dunnit?Originally posted by Scania:Any reason for asking this question? Its what people who are interested in VINs and GENs (Vehicle Information) do.
The most reasonable answer is that 4 Lances were originally to be registered in TIB rego, 1 was registered in CSS, then another became PA, then the remaining two never had Duple Metsec bodies fitted on them, possibly they were facing delays or had to readjust their fleet due to some reasons or other.Originally posted by iveco:But registering a Hino HSK as a Dennis Lance seems dodgy, dunnit?![]()
Must be your 1st time take CT18Originally posted by TWS4793:The TV signal for TV Mobile on buses is at it's weakest when the bus is plying through the CTE Tunnel.
