Take note that the list is based on the assumption that TIBS would had registered 4 additional UMW-Dennis Lances into TIB series and 5 additional Dennis Lances into TIB series, so it differs from the current SMRT fleet list(s).Originally posted by Scania N113CRB luver:Ah finally . TIB1061A, TIB1063U to TIB1147L are Euro 1. Their registration dates were before the Euro 2 deadline of 1st Jan 2001, something similar to the B9TL case.Originally posted by carbikebus:Habits & Volgren bendies i thought all along euro2?

It isnt economically wise . Euro-III production is abt to be phased out as well .Originally posted by iveco:I see.
BTW, any reason why Euro III isn't common in SG (and to some extent, Perth)? Why the jump from Euro II to Euro IV?
When we had to replace most of our buses in the early to mid 90's, it was Euro II then. Now it's time to do it all over again, the standard is already Euro IV.Originally posted by iveco:I see.

Some simple History..
Whenever TIB872H turns out of bus bay, the back EDS will show "Please Give Way". But this function has since been deactivate.
Inside the bus, there is an announcement system. Whenever the bus is full, the BC can activate the announcement in both English and Chinese. "Welcome onboard TransIsland Bus Service.. For the comfort of other passengers, please move to the back of the bus" (forget the actual message.. but it's something like that.). I last heard the announcement system at around March this year. Not sure if drivers still play that announcement when the bus is full.
What about taxis? Was there any requirement for them to be Euro II or Euro III compliant?Originally posted by ^tamago^:When we had to replace most of our buses in the early to mid 90's, it was Euro II then. Now it's time to do it all over again, the standard is already Euro IV.
