Full Control by AMDEP
On Sundays/PH, certain stops along the town area like Chinatown and Little India can be very packed during the morning. Therefore buses could have been deployed earlier to BT Merah INT to start service in the opposite directions so that the first bus that starts off from Yishun INT would not have a super heavy load later.
Mostly services that have extra long routes and may have overcrowding during Sundays/PH would get buses starting off from the other end. As for 852, I've personally seen Hinos cameo 852 from KJDEP when it is wholely controlled by AMDEP.
Rego of Hino spotted on 852... Quite long time ago but I think it was TIB 0954 E. -

No wonder DAFs made up almost 60% of the fleet last time! Before the UK Lances came in.
I miss the DAFs...
No wonder the DAFs suddenly disappeared and got replaced by the UK Lances. -

amdep used to have ELBO's have well, mainly running on 169, 851 and 853.
not very sure about DAF's, but the disappearance of DAF's on 852 is definitely due to transfer of full control of sv 852 to amdep sometime in 2003. any transfer of DAF to kjdep likely happened before that. -
