SBS 9592A have special poles at the lower deck of the bus which branches outwards into threes. These kind of poles are the same as those that you see on the SMRT C751B trains.

One of the metal poles at gate 3 of Sengkang Interchange, which is supposed to be used for the Service 119 queue, is gone.

Eh sorry the depot started refurbishing their buses in April, not July or whatever you have stated, just that YOU need to check your facts right. Sv80 has a special PIW boarding area near the alighting berth at Sengkang Int where the PIW have to press a button for the bus to stop. However, i noticed sometimes some buses love to block that area (either resting awhile before continuing trip or dont know wad) so wad happens if such incident happen when a Sv80 WAB passes by and a PIW is waiting?

I saw a PIW assisted by her maid wheelchair into the boarding area.
For Service 80 PIW boarding area, it's towards the inside of the building, adjacent to where gate 1 (boarding for Services 83 and 86) is.
ADD: The problem comes with the Service 83 BCs especially. Before Service 80 was officially a WAB Service, I went there once. Saw two buses (one of them is SBS 0944C) waiting near the alighting berth. I think the same problem still continues into today.
Err...maybe the BCs went down to check something? -
I think ur refurbish means only reflooring but the depot I am toking had their repainted A/C vents, new Handlers, new Stopping bell, new stopping switch and wash all their seats cover. Eh, my friend work there so.. If one depot only transfer 4 buses but get 7 buses from another depot so does that tell u anything? More importantly some depot just hold so many SP bus and never use them wisely.. Actually this "loop" kind of route was similar to what Svc 57 was doing, going as far as Whitley Rd to get from Toa Payoh to Little India. To extend Svc 81 to Bishan or AMK, it will most likely end up running parallel to Svc 22 or 53 instead of via Braddell Rd. The pax load may not be high along the stretch. An interesting link would be between Bishan MRT and AMK Ave 8 if it chooses to run in that manner.
Regarding links between Bishan and Kovan, I think they are leaving it to a 53 to 81 transfer or waiting for CCL to start. -

Can u name some of the seat cover changed? ah, VO2x and VO3x came in....but some VO3x which came in went back to bbdep or as went far as hgdep.
You say that slbp maintenance can maintain buses, but compare slbp B9TLs and hgdep/amdep B9TLs....a world apart again. Vibration is pronunced on the slbp ones and the hgdep/amdep ones are not so. -
