Which Feeders/Short-Haul sv need DDs?

From my observation S334 really needs at least two DDs during peak hours & Weekends PM.The Merc always packed like sardines and considering 334 routes are quite far for feeder services it's certainly justified for DDs.
S410 need PERM DDs.Just ask Bishan residents and i'm sure they agreed.
S238,S359 need DDs during peaks & Weekends.
S291 needs perm DDs too.
S83 needs 1 DD to cater the students during Weekdays -
240 & 243 need DDs too. During the PM peak, you'll see all their buses full to the door. There used to be occasional VO2x cameos in the past, but now no more...

240, 242, 334 & 359 had perm DDs in the past.
302 & 307 had perm DDs under SBS. -
I feels that S238 didn't require DD as the route are too short,But with a better frequencies yes

From my observation , i think Feeders that need DD's will be Service 291 , 333 , 334 , 335 , 83 and many more. Lucky S60 got DD's

I don't think 333 needs DD anymore... The load is rather hopeless even with SDs at 13min frequency... -

I hope there's cross-over from 23 or 81 will do. After 7pm, the demand is crazy for both bounds.
18 needs the cross-over DDs from 30! They still can't cope with 33's SD. -
must also see its viability.
some feeders have DDs but its route quite short. passengers lazy to go upstairs and rather stand downstairs.
an example would be S291 for a significant amount of its load alights at the Blk 201 area. there were times when i boarded it frm the int. lower deck packed.. i squeezed my way and went upstairs.. wah so many seats!
on another note, if a VSO can do 291, a B9 can too! -

Let me clarify the PURPOSE of JE feeders.
333 - Toh Guan to Jurong East Avenue 1 link, JE St 32 link, JE to Toh Guan (though this looks hopeless, outrun by 52, 105 and 183)
334 - general JE Feeder from JE Int to JE Avenue 1/JW Avenue 1. The loading is too high. Especially evening peak. Maybe 2 S Shift buses can do extra 1 round of 334 before calling it a day (for weekdays). (follow 2994U)
335 - JE feeder to JW St 41/51/52. It should be quicker for the JW Avenue 1 stretch. This feeder is manageable. Maybe an extra bus will suffice.
Now, assisting services:
333: 52, 105, 183 all help 333 out. No wonder 333's load is very poor.
334: 98. Sadly, even that service isn't coping very nicely with the loads. Already from JE Int a SD becomes FULL.
335: JE/JW Avenue 1 will be 98. All other sections it's the sole runner. -

All 3 feeders, I think have extremely slack timetables. All the buses drive very slowly. Especially 333. The timetable hovers around 40mins per round.Originally posted by Donavan:Now, assisting services:

335 also. Along Jurong Town Hall Rd & Boon Lay Way especially, long smooth stretch, yet they still drive so slowly. -
the citybuzz svcs don't need DDs,
i hope SBST take out those DDs on citybuzz and replace them with dennis dart or NAC Mk 2 or scania -
Recently saw SD serving on Svc 812. Feeder svc that need DDs are perhaps bedok, tampines and boon lay feeders.

SD on 812? Shouldn't be rigid?
