Last time is the Green Men/Ticket Inspector with a worker to install the bus stop plate using a SBST pick-up/lorry.

from AMK to Ngee Ann takes 30minutes, versus 45 minutes..
but now is holiday form SP and NP... so the normal 74 also takes 30 minutes
today took 74e evening trip.. only 7 pax on board
Clementi Road - PIE - Thomson Road - Marymount Road
was rather a slow trip.. using PIE was a bad idea.. traffic jam + longer distance.. using Bt Timah Road is a better choice..
bus did not exit at Lornie Road, but exits at Thomson Road.. very very long winded route.. true, theres a jam at Lornie Road exit, but using thomson road takes far longer..
in the end, a normal 74 which came 3 mins earlier than 74e, met together at Marymount road
74 frequency also very bad.. about 12 mins.. full of single decks and non-aircons -
Looks like the route for 74e is not 'express' enough.Although i do not know what route they ply.The estimated timing for 74e at Commonwealth Ave(Blk:43) is 8.28am but it arrive at 8.36am

so the 20% time savings become 10% and for my trip, it was like a 3 minutes saving
but the positive is its quite an empty bus
