shortest bus route in singapore

  since dere is a longest bus route in singapore, why not discuss abt the shortest one? ( be it feeder or trunk)
  
  feeder i think is bus service 284 or 92?....haha...i think newspaper got say b4 or wad....i cant rmb....
  
  trunk service i nt sure.....anyone can enlighten me on this?

  for feeder sv, i guess should be 284. For trunk svc, i guess should be 11.

  I wonder how the bus drivers of such bus services feel while driving round and round the same old road many times a day??

  I feel that there are pros and cons.
  Pros: Least affected by sudden call of nature.
  More breaks?
  Better for your back since one does not have to sit at the chair for a very long time.
  Cons: Get bored easily.

  I think TIB638T on 921 also before , i took one round and no one board , only 1-2 ppl alighting along Petir Rd.

  Service 343 was renumbered to 921 and converted to a PAC service in 2000. In 2006, merged with trunk service 700/700A.
  
  Service 820 was renumbered to service 378 in 2001, after which was merged with amended service 103 to terminate at Serangoon during the NEL rationalisation in end 2003.

  But for short svcs like 284, the driver have to do 4 to 5 rounds at one go before having a break.
  
  But I have seen other svcs like 243 cheat... The driver chiong so that he can have a break between 2 runs when there is supposed to be no break...
  
  Last time, 179 also like that, but in the recent timetables, no more consecutive rounds!

  Sometimes you have to carry on 3/4 trips w/o stopping,Less break times but longer meal times

  Petir Rd residents rather take a walk to nearby bus stops @ Bt Panjang Rd to wait for other svcs

  820/821 used NAC Mercedes, not nissans.. and it had 3 bus stops within seletar camp, walking distance..
  
  354 route is also within walking distance, while 284 is probably longer than 354

  If I am not mistaken, services 820/821 used mainly the zero step NAC Scanias when all the NAC Nissans were transferred to the newly opened WLDEP in 1998. NAC Mercedes cameoed on these services once in a while
  
  NAC Nissans were then used on services 820/821 when WLDEP later swopped its NAC buses with AMDEP in Oct 1999. Remembered it's perm buses were TIB331C and TIB332A at that time. NAC Nissan deployment only a short period of time before the services were handed back to SBS in Dec 1999.
