I think it could be scarier if you were travelling on route 172 or 975 and you are all alone when it passes by... the homes of... erm... the dearly departed...

Well, I have been alone on a bus many times... 85, 95, 200, 34, 82, 43, 48, 58 (when it first started), 30 (the last bus), etc etc... But my funniest experience was on CSS603...
A few years back, during the SARS scare, I went to HK to attend my cousin's wedding. When I came back, the people in my army camp scared I got SARS. So I went to Tan Tock Seng Hospital to check whether I had SARS. In the end, I was verified to have no SARS.
After the check-up, I walked to Balestier Rd and took CSS603 to Orchard. On the way, the sergeant major of my army camp's medical centre called me and asked me how's the check-up. I told him I went to TTSH and everything was fine. Then, dunno why, all the passengers in the bus suddenly alighted along Stevens Rd, and I was all alone in the bus from Stevens Rd to Orchard Rd.
Maybe the passengers heard me talking about TTSH and SARS... Hence everyone kiasee and alighted, before I actually told the sergeant major that "I'm fine and I've no SARS"...
Although I had no SARS, my company CSM told me to "rest" at home for 2 weeks (at if he's scared my clothes and my skin and my hair got SARS virus after the TTSH visit...) So I had 2 weeks of "unofficial leave" and I avoided a major exercise + my army camp's spring cleaning... Haha!
Maybe it was just a conincidence, or maybe they really kiasee and all run before they get infected. If the driver also ran...

Well, it must have been surreal to see a public bus (which model was it, by the way?) running down Orchard Road with only one person on board in daytime...
