  Not sure about that, but it seems like, judging from the posts in here, that this happens usually on low-demand routes or on low-demand sectors of longer routes. Also notice how this is more likely to happen near the end of trunk routes that go around the new town...

  I got once oni. 1.15pm+, svc 856. Whole bus empty....somemore on Sunday..........Reason: bus came in halfway thru journey......I good man..

  Ya. Took bus 30 late at night from boon lay to bedok. When I alighted near bedok, I was the only one left.
