I saw an abandoned sbs double deck at pasir lebar area....

  During my nsf, when I was doing helicoptor training in pasir lebar area, which is at the extreme west of Spore, I saw an abandoned old leyland axle non-air con double deck bus while sitting in the helicoptor.
  
  It used to be used in services 2, 12, 23 and others. It was widely used in the 90s.
  
  Anyone has any ideas how come that bus was left in that area?
  
  In the first place, I also don't know how the bus managed to reach that area. It is deep inside military training area and the surroundings are grassland.

  According to Suhirman, there was a LA used for training @ SCDF academy @ Jln Bahar. Could it be the one you saw?

  Since when ? Since your father days.. For your very own information.. Pasir Lebar Camp is near SAFTI MI.. OCS used to trained at Pasir Lebar Camp until they they shifted to SAFTI MI.

  Er, it isn't PAsie Lebar, but LABA. According to old bus guides, there used to be a route 450 going there.

  good point raised there, but u can't use google earth on the restricted area or even jurong/boon lay HDB estates!

  when you search along the jurong west side , everything becomes blur . i guess they "censored" it as there are army camps there or they are afraid of terrorist .

  That area is at pasir lebar area, not at jalan bahar. Perhaps scdf dumped the bus there?
