Yeah, i think they only have 30+ buses. Why can't they just use the extra money they dont need for CCL to just get these buses? TIBS at least was moving and they got their last bus in 2003. Seriously, SMRT SHOULD BUY SOME buses now! Its facing serious shortages of buses, somemore cut cost and deploy less buses. Look at 190, no matter how gd its freq, its always pack, as compared with SBS times. 920/922 is worst as ever. 
960 also very bad. 187 freq quite good actually, at least got one service which freq is acceptable that passes by BP. Even if they dont wish to buy buses now, they shld at least have a new demonstrator WAB, say the OC500LE or the Citaro or better, the Scania K230. 
But for 190, SMRT should have used it as a perm bendy maybe by taking some bendies from 302/180 to put in 190 because 190 seriously needs bendies all the time. -

But true leh, 966 shud go into Bt Panjang then become something like half of 190 instead of serve those SAJC/CJC students only -
From what i think , 966 should have plied Bukit Panjang long ago when they introduce , good for the Petir Rd also , now 700 isn't alone anymore

is the old 966 the only bus which travels via bke passing bt panjang estate?
maybe they can implement every service travelling via bke to stop by bt panjang before resuming the expressway trip

is it 1 way or 2 way? i.e when it travels to woodlands from marine parade, does it turns into bukit panjang as well? will be quite cock if it doesn't...but anywayz.. the return leg is already quite "disrupted" due to the required turn outs at serangoon and sajc area... .
for ppl like us who lives in marine parade and works in bp / cck area.. this is a real life and time saver.. -

Agreed. A dream come true for Petir Rd residents especially , a direct bus to Marine Parade for them. -

i think volvo is correct. 700 enters bke from bukit panjang, it does not pass by bukit panjang via bke (bke -> bt panjang -> bke)Originally posted by 105090:700? -

now only 926 does not stop by bt panjang.
bt panjang seems so dominating against buses travelling on bke -
You see those leaving BNL around 5pm to 7pm... All the 12m bus packed to the door... Still got some cannot even board, have to wait for next bus...
