That's OK. Looking at that bus we can see how much things have changed over the years. From NAC DDs, we now have AC DDs and the latest ones are wheelchair accessible too. It is a regulation, I can't remember from which governing body, which disallowed the putting of ads on the front. Only recently (1 or 2 years ago?) has this regulation been 'relaxed' somewhat by allowing 'contravision' ads to be put on the upper windscreen of DDs. Of course, the bus company would like to sell as much space as possible to the advertisers and would have put ads on the front if not for the regulations. -

You yourself know why I said it. I have no intentions of airing dirty laundry. It is you who is attacking us collectively (don't ask my why TIB744U brought up those posts again). If you want to apply that logic to iveco, then you might want to apply that logic to us. Simple. Nothing complex, no mind games.

hand painted ads really looks and sounds tedious unless if there were machines to help? [most probably so] but speaking of ads, i really miss those banner style ads [guess they were meta/plastic plates?] held by holders at the engine cover of DDs/top-back/top-side/rear. simple yet good for spreading messages. but unfortunately SBST and SMRT somehow feels like doing away with this. [SBST had done this away with almost all of its buses while SMRT is just starting to do away with that too] -
I believe they have found the "sticker" ads replacement more cost effective. I also wonder if this could be a regulation by relevant authorities as the advertisement racks could be a hazard in an unfortunate event of an accident.Originally posted by collinnxk88:o.O
