I like the way route 175 connects from Orchard to Depot Road - now I can add Orchard MRT station as a possible list of transfer points when going to and from CMPB (which I frequently do) - right now, I usually use Queenstown (195), Tiong Bahru (195), occasionally Habourfront (57), and I used Tajong Pagar once, using route 57 also.

btw, return trips towards CLE Int, it will use Crawford St, Nth Bridge Rd, Stamford Rd & plates along West Coast H'way still not up yet -
Review of service new new 175
grade : A+
remarks: ah another "new generation" service. the following notable links are created:
1) PSA building - Orchard road direct ( i know PSA peeps are getting fed up of taking bus 51 then 111)
2) Ginza Plaza - Great World city (important for my cousin to go workplce from home)
once again another svc for my cousin. this is the third service i suggested for her. the previuos two were 920 and 970 when she was living in bt pnajang.
3) Pasir Panjang wholesale centre - Clementi market via Ginza. (essentilly my ZYX404)
4) link from kallang Bahru to orchard road ( suggested for my mum colleague who complain all the time their side at Kllng no bus)
surprises:
a new bus link from CMPB to orchard road for my army camp mates
overall good combination of previous ideas n suggestions by SBS

If you don't know already, CMPB has shifted their guardhouse to be nearer to the pair of bus stops along Depot Road that is served by routes 57, 195, 274, and (soon) 175 a few years back; my already-ORDed colleagues, while telling me how to go to CMPB a year ago, was already talking about it.
I think I will experiment with this route the next time I get to go to CMPB from Sembawang Camp - no more MRT transfers; I now only have to deal with one MRT-bus transfer in each direction

I guess HG won't deploy MK II on the svc, rmb the fleet swap for Svc 109 from MK II become MK III? My prediction would be put DD on Svcs that can take some SD out since they have so many DD SP now, eg Svc 80, 153 etc, n make the SD perm on this new svc

i think that initially 175 might be using SDs but if the load is good who knows they will be using DDs in the future and some of those SP VO3x from SLBP will be transferred back to BBDEP for 175?

175 should achieve high lods within 3 motnhs. after ll it serves many office areas residents and orchard rd and bugis.
its one of those super long wait n super crowded svc in due time.
