First break down of 2007 for me has to be
SMRT's mercedes (Off service)
TIB830D (WL 858 ) , engine bonnet open , comfirm engine problem . Saw warning lights on ( bus c.ockpit) -
2 jurong east mercedes a/c not working... 542D on SL 334 and 491S on SL 143... buses were not replaced only breaktimes for captains minimised by 1 bus for both svces...

one of S15's MKIIs broke down at the right-turn lane alone Tamp Ave 7 to Tamp Ave 4 after bus stop opposite library towards Marine Parade. -
SBS3821D broke down in Boon Lay Temp Int, with front cover removed.

Does anyone know if 9058B of 179 has been in an accident? The headlights/bumper area has been completely replaced. Probably that was why it was MIA for 1 month+

No leh, i thought it was repainted. BTW, I see SLBP buses getting more "bruises"", I mean scratches at the sides and the sides near to the rear side of the bus. Only the front lower half is shiny. It has also lost both is badges. The "land" part of Leyland and the Alexander badge both have disappeared. 9058B used to be 179's most complete badged bus, but not anymore. All 3 badges on the rear are still present. But have all disappeared from the front...
Talking about new parts, 367T also has a new rear bumper. -

SBS0905R on Svc 87 (a cameo) broke down along Hougang Central just after the exit from HG Central Int at around 1630 towards the direction to Bedok.
Driver seen using umbrella to ferry passengers from the bus to the next one in the heavy downpour. -
SBS9347S (87 HGDEP) broke down along Hougang Ave 3 this morning, at a bus stop somewhere near Defu Industrial Estate. Seen excess smoke coming out from the exhaust pipe, the bus was attended to by a SBST maintenance vehicle.

Details: Broke down outside block 109 of Bedok North Avenue 3. No cover opened. Warning triangle placed metres before the bus to signal that it broke down. -

Details: Crashed head first into a lorry. 4 passengers injured. Resulted in trafic jam at Clementi. -

perfectly normal, i would said, just waiting another serious accident happen again.
i was in svc 969 from tampines to yishun, terminated at wooland.
bus captain was following front vechicle too closed, at normal road, in expressway, up to my alightling point, yishun.
100% awaked when i took this bus service -

SBS 9049C [SL 179] came to Boon Lay Int in the morning with a 242 SD front desto. Went back to SLBP again after the mechanic took a look at it.
SBS 9258R [BB 99] seen at bus stop outside Blk 680C along Jln Boon Lay at 12.15pm with an ambulance behind. Paramedics were attending to an old man with his head bandaged.
SBS 9377E [AR SP] broke down along Jurong West Ave 4 at the junction before turning into Jln Boon Lay. Seen with recovery truck preparing to tow it at 12.15pm. -
