LOL! Tyre roar, wah biang eh.Originally posted by XTransbus:i have several several friends who drive trucks in europe. The tyres should be the same. He said many prefer michelin due to their 'quiteness'. Some tyres 'roar' when moving at certain speeds.
Seen a VO3x(1st gen) skid slightly before. During rainy days larh. Think BC brake too hard, then got the "EEEERRRCCCCKKKKK sound, which sounds like tyre skidding. Took a LO3x also got skid slightly because of wet weather.Originally posted by MS:I see many discussions. Allow me to one shot clear the air.
Comparing between michelins and Bridgestones, in SBS bus applications, the maximum speed is only 60kph. Even with severe load, the bus can only generate so much load. So grip is quite ample for any of the bus tyres found in the market today.
can skid even more because very cold.Originally posted by buses_galore:Aeroplane Tires!!!![]()
erm... why do you sy rethread tyre wears out more quickly?Originally posted by XTransbus:it's dangerous for you to use old rethreaded tyres as it wears out more quickly. The rish in not quite high for city buses because they travel 60km/h max. Using(old and cheap) rethreaded tyres at the front can be dangerous especially when you're driving at high speeds.
i mean low quality ones. The rubber pieces aren't glued properly and causing the tyres to break after sometimeOriginally posted by MS:erm... why do you sy rethread tyre wears out more quickly?
