  some buese got one sign (like those bus stopping ones) which is shown infront of the windscreen which says " pay cash "
  
  but hor, inside got ezlink and cash option lei, if so then why got that sign

  but funny leh.. got a few times i took SVC157 LO3X.. "PAY CASH" lights up but boarded bus everyting ok leh.. can use ez link..

  They reply on EZLink mah. Last time uses the old TransitLink ticket system. Btw, how come the B9TL wheels becomes so black easily one?

  in your case the thing just circuit break n the light is stuck as on lor
  
  or more like circuit is shorted forever. wiring problem lah

  B9TL too new (same for VSO and Trident) , usually older buses got....

  Human error. The Pay Cash indicator switch is together with the internal lighting switches. Some BCs just switch on everything cos they don't know which is which or they just didn't notice.
