While I was in Switzerland, I lived in Rotkreuz in Kanton Zug. Zug is not as large as Luzern or Zurich but there is a fair mix of buses. One interesting model is the mid-engined NAW BU5-25. This bus uses Mercedes parts and in essence, it is a O405 with the engine moved to the centre like the B10M. There are artics and rigids, which can be attached with a trailer. Also available are the Citaro/Citaro G, some of which with Hess bodywork. My favourite is the Scania N94UB in 11m or 9.5m lengths. There is also the 17m, 3-axle Scania L94UB and at least 1 example of a normal rigid L94UB (can also be attached with a trailer), but these are not many and are only out at specific times. The bus which reminds me of home are the Mercedes O405s for they sounded just like the ones in Singapore. They have O405Gs with W4E boxes and of course, normal rigid O405s, but there is at least one rigid O405 which I rode having a turbocharged engine, much to my surprise! Another surprise is a short wheelbase Volvo B10M and a Volvo B10L, both of which can only be found at Cham Station.
I have put up some pictures of buses from my stay in Switzerland which can be found in the link below. There are lots more but I have a backload of older photos which I need put up first. In the man time, enjoy!
