151e is pretty much useless if you ask me. most of the delay for 151 is due to the jams and not the stopping for passengers -
Ok.. let me clarify.. this shuttle is a purely restricted service. for ngee ann staff and students. need to show pass, to the driver. it uses comfort Bus. This service is under trial, presumbly 6 weeks, until the week before chinese new year. thats 7 weeks.
there are 6 buses used. (3 per time slot) about 6.50am, 6.55, 7.00 and 7.50, 7.55am and 8.00am. these 2 time slots arrives in time for classes which starts at 8am or 9am.
The travelling time is about 35-40 minutes.

by the way, there is someone who is counting the number of people boarding the bus..

as for the situation of 74e and 151e... not many people take them from the interchange.. same for the shuttle.. must travel to the interchange.. so not really affected..
today saw a 151e full (but no standing) towards NUS after SIM bus stop.
74e (mostly going to SP) has about 10-15 people. this is the 7am/ 7.15am trips.
so, 74e and 151e not really affected by this shuttle. -
so those who are late for their 8am classes and couldn't catch the shuttle can fork out money to take 74e or 151e at 7.15am.... but then, the buses reach there at 7.59am or 8.07am respectively.

From Toa Payoh lagi faster, in 14 mins can reach NP, 30 mins to NUS

this morning the buses were no longer from comfort. they are from private company.
they also travel via a different route.
Upper serangoon road
braddell
lornie
farrer
ulu pandan
clementi road.
and it reached slightly faster than comfort buses. -

i think i can still use my NP pass and take NP bus.. -

day 6 of the free shuttle
hmmm still comfort, but route change... once turn to CTE, it goes all the way to AYE, then exit clementi road to NP. timing not much difference.
