why SMRT bus always got into accident?

today clementi got one accident involving SMRT bus, then last time got one SMRT bus crashed into a expressway pillar at serangoon road....

maybe the drivers too kan chiong want to go back interchange for longer breaks?
or maybe kopi licence? -

Sometimes taking SMRT bus very dangerous. I recounted two experiences on articulated SMRT buses, namely TIB 1127U and TIB 1134Z. The bus chiong so fast that I couldn't keep my balance. So back to the Speed Limiter issue. Does it really have one? If one day can go on SMRT buses, then I see how fast they can chiong.
SBS Transit is not really bad though, but some buses go very fast. Just yesterday, I saw BC of SBS 3685E on Service 225W chiong so fast even at bends.
Luckily SBS Transit have a failsafe system. -

Seriously they should enforce it more harshly. We can't be having SMRT bendy buses having another accident like 184, which I believe the bus could have been speeding, knock and knock until the lorry overturn -

speed limiter can be easily deactivated ma.. just pluck out the fuse can already
anyway, when a person wants to speed, using any speed limiter also no use -

was on TIB1030 (S190).. bus was stuck at traffic jam on BKE.. so late liao ma..
once on PIE, was going on an average of 80km/hr..
the so called 'limiter' only lighted up.. din even beep.. -
Simple reasons...
Tight schedules eg S25 Bedok to Eunos Link about 22mins/S854 about 16 mins
SMRT buses acceleration is superb due to low profile tyres and true citybus features.Almost all the SL in the fleet runner so other have to followsuit.But nowadays it's a bit rare to see SL chiong like mad due to IBOS(SBST AVMS,Tracking system),But certain services we do see SL chiong. -

Newer bus engines' seems to have their powerband near the redline..say 1800-2000rpm...and most bus driver chiong to that region,hence very fast and good top speed.
